The DHP453 Combi Drill features a full metal gearbox, a 13mm keyless nylon chuck, and it can drill up to 36mm wide holes into wood.

16 torque settings give you between 27 and 42Nm of torque and a rubberised grip is designed with comfort in mind so you can work for longer!

It's hard to imagine a drill more suitable for the keen diy'er or "prosumer" so it seems Makita have really hit the nail on the head.

With this kit, you not only get a fantastic tool, but you also get a 3Ah LXT battery and a charger on which the full range of Makita LXT professional tools will work absolutely fine.

Did we mention the 101 piece accessory set? Thats right, this kit is your all ine one professional entry into power tools and includes everything you need to tackle almost any job!

Was £120 few months back

It was at Powertoolworld but no stock at the moment
As for the accessory set, you'll be replacing the items you actually use, likely after the first and only use. Drill is great, I've had this set for several years, otherwise, you're lugging around scrap metal, especially in the drills.
Drill without battery is £45, battery £35 (often much cheaper), charger £25, accessories not worth much, if anything. The drill is bottom of the makita range, much better options and cheaper buying separately (dhp482 for example for £50-£55).
Just an FYI, I have been through several of this drill model, just seemed to die after a few months. On the third failure I bought a different drill and stripped the Makita down to see the issue - the heat from the motor caused the solder to melt/fracture, making a power cable come loose. An easy fix but not something you should have to do on a drill. Be aware!
£124.00 at uk planet tools
Good price, but got rid of my 18v in favour of 10.8v and so far so good. 10.8v stuff is so light
Combi drill is junk. Plastic change ring in the gear box. Accessories set is similarly junk. You will not get two use from many of the items. They are the cheapest and lowest quality metal. The batts are fine but are now fairly cheap as the higher ampere hour batts are the ones in demand. Buy one of their better drills advertised for general use, not 'light'. Might cost more, but worth it in the long term. And watch out for chuck wobble on Makita drills. If it suffers from this ailment send it back.
