Looks good for price. Would be a bit lighter to use than the 3 and 4 ah batteries. If your doing small stuff

It's not low voltage! 18v is 18v whether it's 1.5ah or 5.0ah. Exactly the same power.

wrong term, it wont last as long.. i'm no drill expert, but do the newer batterys/drill combo work 100% then die of quickly, whereas older ones seem to lose power over a lengthier time

Yeah, li-ion batteries should keep maximum power until they die quickly.
How much would the two batteries be on their own?

A quick Google comes up around £25+. The charger around £30

Two Makita batteries for £25?

As you probably guessed, there should have been an each in my comment. Think the cheapest I can see a body for is about 40 quid. Not too sure if that's the exact. Model. Guessing p+p would be on those prices maybe
Would you guys recommend this or the Bosch GSB 18v with 2x 3ah for £120?

3ah genuine batteries are circa £29.99 - £35 usually and the charger best price I have seen is £26.99!
Need a drill, is this a good buy?
