This is a great price. Slap a copied battery on it off amazon and voilla!

£4.99 postage to be added on unless you have a discount code?

are the copied batteries any good @steven5watson ? Do they last and perform? If so I might get this!

This plus the 10 pound for a 4amp battery from an earlier B&Q deal ....

Its like the printer manufacturers making money from the ink!
Just sell the batteries with it as a complete set!

You still need a charger.

I would have forgot about that. Thanks.

I'm not actually sure. I'm tempted not buy a couple for my makita chainsaw buy haven't taken the plunge yet.

Decent price for the DIY'er, not enough power for the trade though.

Simple answer NO.

I'd avoid the copy LXT batteries... some reviews are positive but that's usually as soon as they've received them, it's after a bit of use that some fail. Also there's no quality assurance, some may be fine, some might overheat and swell up. Who knows.

I wouldn't use take batteries on anything that draws a lot of power as they don't have the thermal protection. I use take batteries in things like torches, radios and drills and I try not to goto heavy on them. On my angle grinder sds drills etc I will only use genuine batteries.

Great price for the body..... shame batteries and chargers are extortionate.
