This is my first post so sorry if its not an amazing deal!

Last week i bought this drill from the same website but with the 100 piece accessory set for £170, they updated me today to say they cant get hold of the 100 piece kit and it now comes with the 105 piece kit instead (which should be around £8 more) yet they have dropped the price by £10.

I had already shopped around for the best price for the drill alone and Lawson HIS seemed to be the best price with free delivery too, so surely this is a misprice? anyways heres some specs for the drill.

It looked to be a decent drill with one massive 4.0ah lithium-ion battery and quick charge of 36 minutes, also comes with an extended 3 year warranty.

Specs from the website:

This version of the DHP456RMWX is also supplied with a 105 piece Makita "PRO" accessory set
Model DHP456 is the improved version of model BHP452
More compact and lightweight design than BHP452
More comfortable operation will be provided by re-designed ergonomic grip
Complete with 4.0Ah battery
4 pole motor.

High comfort grips.
LED job light with afterglow.
Metal gears
Two speed gear box.

Nice find BUT a white drill! Lol heat from me

Seems a good price, not sure why but there are usually good deals on the white versions.

Nearly ordered one with a 3.0ah battery the other week for 150 so this seems like a pretty good deal.

Great drill and good price with the new bigger battery

I heard that white makita is same as bosch green... Home use, general DIY... true or not dunno
Probably this would explain why price is cheaper

4.0ah battery great price. Just to clarify white was special anniversary addition exactly the same equipment as the normal coloured tools not a DIY version don't think they sold as well as makita expected (white tools used daily on site don't stay white long)

Stop me - pleeeeeaaaaasssssse

It is nearly Christmas and at this rate I won't have any money left for the kids pressies - they are too young for, power tools

White in this case means it's an anniversary edition. This is an uprated version of the BHP452. It's fundamentally a BHP456 in a different colour scheme with a fancy box (if you look at the drill specs of the BHP456 they're all identical - it's things like which battery they come with, which case etc that define the differing letters at the end of the model name).

Good price for an absolute quality drill - this would be enough for pretty much any home DIYer.

Hot - I bought the 3ah version from Toolstation a couple of months ago for £149.
I think this is a better deal (although I've heard that the makita drill bits are a bit soft).

Don't forget to check the managers specials if you do order, lots of stuff not worth ordering on their own due to p&p but worth throwing into another order. I got my order this morning, the steel toe capped wellies are a bit big but the gore tex boots are spot on. The wiha screwdriver set looks good too, although I'm yet to use them. The alan keys are bloody huge though!

Worth it for the 4.0ah battery alone! I bought the BHP456RFWX off Amazon with the 3.0ah battery for £150, so this is a bargain. Heat

How does it compare to this unit (basic drill only but spec wise has the same batter power)? It's about half the price but no case and bits.

Looking at the product description and title I think that's a listing just for the battery, I don't think you get the impact driver as well. The battery alone sells for about £80

Yup, the product code is for the battery.

up in price to £171.54 was thinking about postage to northern ireland and now up, aw well.

sure I saw this in screw fix for 149 last week

That would be the 453 model with a 3.0ah battery. This is definitely a better deal for a slightly newer model and the 4.0ah battery.

The price has gone up
