Can you use any batteries
Got this drill, amazing power. You just need to buy a battery and charger. I'd recommend the 5.0ah battery which is around £80.

Do you know if the warranty is affected if you buy it from eBay? Do you still get those 3 years warranty? If everything is the same then that is even better price. For me personally buying from Amazon is more convenient.

Please accept my apologies, I didn't even knew a new one was out.
toolstop.co.uk has it for £119 which is not a bad price if you can afford it. Well done for pointing that out.

Warranty will be there - business seller that will supply you with invoice etc.

DHP481 - looks like an amazing drill. Surely its perfect for breaking apprentice`s wrist.
Now £57.99 although temporarily out of stock. You can still order at this price. Thanks OP.

Yes mine is the 481 actually, it looks similar though, just more silver!

DHP481 - it's brushless. I think most of the tools will go into that direction but you have to pay good money for the privilege. For me this is a very good price and I got back £5 - thanks pluves1.

I was looking at this drill recently and I found this battery that gets very good reviews,

Amazon also appeared to be the cheapest place to buy the charger.

The makita produces substantially more torque but for general use at home the Bosch one is fine, I have two of those Bosch drills and they've been great. The Bosch has a 10mm chuck which is all most people will need, the Makita has a 13mm chuck.

Obviously the Bosch has two batteries which is better than one.

Worth mentioning the green line from Bosch was made for home users (DIY) while the blue line is meant for daily usage (pro). That Bosch looks like a very good tool for things around the house.

Thanks for that but it doesn't seem cheap to me being not an original battery. I already have one 3Ah Makita battery and a fast charger, but I have 3 tools now so I must invest into another battery. I will probably do what jimmyt11 was suggesting and wait for Black Friday and hope for the best.

I forgot about Black Friday, I'll lookout for the whole package of drill, batteries and charger or see how much they are to buy separately. Last year I ended up on the internet for hour after hour, definately worth waiting for.(_;)
