Homebase have various Makita LXT gear on clearance. A little strange as when I visited Homebase there was no Makita to be seen!

I looked to have missed the combi drill deals with low stock (atleast in my area). The dhr202z is a SDS plus drill (sold bare so no batteries, and charger) and looks a decent price if you are in the LXT system, after SDS plus and there’s stock available in your area.

Two (now one) in Bath. Thanks OP. Seems Homebase are having a clear out.
Ah I missed the multitool @ £70 in my local area. Gutted.
Great find ...reserved. ...fingers crossed
There is one in Ewell
Nice find.... a few in several stores near me

Definitely worth it, brushless does not render all brushed tools worthless. There's a huge hype for brushless tools.... heavily promoted by tool makers to sell more tools. Don't just assume brushless as always being better.

The difference between this and brushless could buy a battery and for a DIY person brushes or brushless really isn't a deal breaker in my mind.

True but for dyi a cheapo car boot corded bosch would do the same for pennies

You could buy a battery or buy brushless and run longer on the battery you have already

All in all I passed on this, bagged the brushless jigsaw for £100 though
I picked up the last one in Bridgend. Have one on reservation at Bath. Anyone want it- can give u the code?

Best of luck, I hate cutting worktops with a jigsaw, it always goes wibbly wobbly as I rush it

I've been looking out for a deal on an 18V Makita SDS for a while thanks!
The next best price is £87 according to this thread. Anyone know where to get it at that price?
