This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

NOTE: If you want batteries and buy at the same time they are offering 2 x Makita 18v 5Ah for £109 inc vat, check when buying!

A follow on from my last DHR263Z body only deal except for another £20 here you ALSO get the:
  • MakPac 4 Carry Case - NO liner included but can be purchased separately.

Not everyone wants the box as its very big, but at least the option is here, case is normally around £30, so a bargain IF you need it.

The Makita DHR263ZJ runs 2 x 18v batteries in series and gets the same power as a 36v machine, while managing to keep the flexibility of running all your tools on the 18v Lithium Ion platform. It is compatible with 1.5Ah, 3Ah, 4Ah and 5Ah 18v batteries.

Featuring a powerful 36v DC motor this machine has enough power to drill holes up to Ø26mm in concrete Ø54mm TCT core and Ø65mm TCT core, a vibration absorbing handle with rubber grip gives excellent control and the balance is what you have come to expect with Makita tools. This is a true 3 function machine with rotary hammer for masonry drilling, rotary only for drilling steel, timber and diamond cores plus hammer only mode for masonry chiselling and a 40 position bit holder allows for the perfect chisel angle to be achieved.

The motor stops automatically when one of the batteries capacity falls below a certain limit and a LED warning light indicates which battery needs replacing/recharging. A LED job light illuminated the work area when the trigger is operated and the after glow feature keeps the light on for around 12 seconds once the trigger has been released.

Other features include a safety clutch to prevent the unit from "snagging" and "XPT" (extreme protection technology) prevents the ingress of dust and water.

NOTE: NO liner is included ONLY the MakPac 4 Case

Not according to the Makita UK website - see makitauk.com/pro…3zj

For the DHR263ZJ kit the accessories supplied with the DHR263 should be
- MakPac Connector Case (TYPE 4)
- Inner Tray
- Depth stop
- Side handle
- Bit grease

As far as I'm aware, all Makita kits that include hard cases have either liners or moulded cases that fit the tool

I'll let you know tomorrow when mine arrives - if the liner's missing, I'll be contacting FastFix to have words as they can't just bundle a MakPac 4 case and sell it using the Makita SKU

I was contacted by them as my set was apparently delayed in traffic and missed the courier at the collection point, not getting it until Friday now but not a problem, I did ask about the liner and was told it wasn't included so changed the details, like you I thought it was, maybe it is just the admin didn't know, let me know tomorrow unless yours has been delayed as well but it seems they were calling those who's were delayed and if you haven't had a call you will most likely get it

I've already had an email from DPD saying they have it and they're delivering tomorrow - their tracking page shows it at their depot

If it is the proper Makita DHR236ZJ SKU, it's factory packed in the case by Makita rather than assembled by the reseller and, going by previous Makita purchases, should have a cardboard sleeve around the case with the SKU/Kit reference on it

I'll post an update on this thread when I receive it...

Plucking hell, good spot
Unfortunately, I can't confirm what the 'ZJ' SKU looks like when delivered...

DPD turned up about 40 minutes ago but delivered the bare drill without the case - the 'Z' SKU - it came bubblewrapped in a cardboard box along with the depth stop/bit grease/instruction manual and a Makita towel (every frood should know where their towel is... )

I immediately phoned FastFix who confirmed that I had ordered the 'J' and it should have come cased with the insert. They said they'd check [something I missed] and call me back. They phoned back about 20 minutes later and apologised for the error. The gentleman said that the person shipping has missed the 'J' on the SKU and picked the wrong item

They're shipping out the case and insert today for delivery tomorrow - so while they made a mistake, they're rectifying it asap so I can't fault their customer service

Don't get too excited, it's not that big... put it this way, you won't be using it to dry yourself after a bath...

Maybe... perhaps I was a bit generous calling it a 'towel', more of a facecloth...

This is what you get - apart from the batteries, I just inserted a couple to check that it was working properly...

My whole kit just arrived including insert and No 4 box, very efficient and nice friendly people
Here it is, the liner has a perfect spot for my Impact Driver and a spot for the grease, now where do I put the dish cloth?

Don't forget to register it for the 3yrs warranty!

Might be worth editing your earlier post that said that the insert isn't included...?

I couldn't think of a use for the towel other than using it to remove excess bit grease and that would have ruined it very quickly so I pinned it to my workshop wall... makes me look a right fanboi

Re the insert the advert doesn’t say it comes with it so maybe we have been lucky, I would rather not build expectations, people could always call and ask I actually think the liners are a bit of overkill in some instances as they don’t let you make best use of the space in the box, I have just ordered 5 more Makpacs and a dolly trolley for them to connect to for pushing around, arriving Monday, I didn’t order liners as too many tools to get in them.
