I can’t see how to order or reserve, on my Amazon I’m getting shown other sellers only now at over £200?

OK wow - it was there when I clicked but yes, no gone. Unlucky - turns out £136 IS the body only price, especially because this is the Brushless.

I don't strictly need one, so was hoping for body only for much less. Was just researching the cheaper LXT models and *poof* this one has gone
Looks like all gone so will expire.
got meself the worx one for crimbo (brushless), already have worx batts, also bought a worx to makita battery converter and one of the 25 quid chinese 'makita' impact wrenches to chuck around, not holding my breath

Those 25 quid chinese brushless 'makita' impact wrenches are superb, I bought one last November and have used it constantly since then with a 1/2" to 1/4 hex screwdriver adapter renovating my new house.
I also tried it on my cars alloy wheels and the nuts came of within seconds, basically it's a clone of this Makita wrench but at a fraction of the price.
Check out youtube for some brill reviews of it.
BTW I also own a genuine Makita impact driver but prefer the wrench because it has more torque.

Yeah, I've got the makita clone too, it's pretty decent from my experience so far.

A large part of the performance of these things is down to the batteries though and I use my proper makita batteries on mine.

Does yours not have the 1/4" hex socket directly in the end of the 1/2" tip? Mine does.

No mine is just like the Makita brushless wrench, here's a photo of mine.
Like you I also only use genuine Makita batteries and even a 3Ah last ages on the brushless wrench.

Hmmm, odd. Does this imply there's more than one Chinese factory knocking these clones out?

The 1/2" end of your impact wrench doesn't look like it's made of hardened black steel like the impact sockets also have and may be a weak point, all the youtube vids I watched never had a 14" hex hole at the end so there must be another maker doing these now.
Any links for the Chinese impact wrench please,

I think that's just the flash, it looks like yours in natural light and it's definitely hardened, a file barely touches it.

Yes, they're all over, I bought off a 'British' seller, but get the feeling it's coming on the slow boat

My one was also bought from a seller who listed the item as in the UK but the seller was registered in China when you clicked on their details.
It was obvious though it was actually coming from China because of the delivery time of 6 working days but it did indeed arrive within the time frame.
I've had items arrive within 3 working days from China so their not always shipped on that 'Slow' boat.
