Seems to be 2 options, with or without the spool head? Is it £62 without or does the more expensive option come with a spare head?

I think the head is included as per the pics on amazon. It’s a little extra for the thread head which seems to have 2 holes for thread cutting. Hope that makes sense
Body only at this price going by the pic.
Batteries are expensive
Cheers. I've read through the questions & reviews and I think it is just a spare spool head so gone with the cheaper option. Great deal for this
I have prime, any way to get free delivery from Germany?
I have this and find it's very good as half the time I couldn't be bothered with my old corded one.
Just ordered. 73.25 euros including delivery which is about £60 (I hope!)

Good buy - I brought one last year, great for quick tidy up but needs more power for anything other than grass
Ordered. Thanks
Got one last year for £66 from Power Tool World. Very pleased with it. Light and powerful enough for my needs. Good quality, and of course uses your existing batteries and charger so you're not duplicating. Got the Makita 2 x 18v chainsaw as well, which is brilliant.

Changing subject slightly, has anyone got the makita lawnmower?? Would be nice hearing if it's any good from a genuine person rather than dodgey online reviews

Thanks.Any suggestion for a charger as well?

Amazon £26. Search HUKD and it’ll come up

I got one last year, only had the chance to use it a few times. Have had no issues with it and batteries holds up (2 x 4ah). Just ordered this so I can do the edges due to brick wall and the lawn mower can’t reach.

I have one also, get on really well with it. Would do my 25ft X 100ft lawn on one charge on 2x 3ah batteries. It's quiet, lightweight and cuts well.

Managed to get an amazing deal on a pair of 5ah batteries a few weeks back (thanks HUKD!) So will be plenty of juice left for the strimmer 😁

39912118-nFUDP.jpgI've bought from the Makita lxt range for a few years now so this strimmer was a no brainer. If you need to buy everything else to make it happen, not so sure.
5ah battery overkill?

5ah battery overkill?

Probably, but I use them for work also. Was using 2x 3ah in the lawnmower last year and it was just enough to do my 25 X 100ft approx lawn. However if the grass was overly long the batteries would drain much faster as the lawnmower had to work much harder.
Ordered yesterday... arrived at lunchtime today! Well done Amazon.de!
