would be great if this was real!

Can't find on homebase website

I'd wait in my car outside the shop if it was. One thing I must say is that the in-store prices were higher than the 'live' website prices.

It's this …It's this https://www.homebase.co.uk/makita-dhp459rmj-brushless-18v-lxt-combi-drill_p398186None reduced at my local though. Congrats OP but this is just a lucky one off.

How can you say that. I've managed to get every recent deal posted in this clearance Homebase are doing.
would be a bargain if it was real. god knows how this has got any heat. i might start posting fantasy deals just to get heat

I'll get a receipt picture for you, just I'm 3 hours down the country now, just wanted to be nice and share it. Tbh I was just as surprised to find it's not online and was store specific and the bargain I got. I debated about buying it there was also a Bosch jigsaw for £30 but that's not online either, though I didn't pick that up
What an absolute steal. Id buy the entire stock.
Not sure how much power a 1.8v tool will have though!

I've managed to get all the deals on Makita stuff but suspect this will be store specific. Weird but Homebase just dont seem to be able to shift Makita tools even though they are sometimes the cheapest by quite a bit. Guess they are clearing stock as most of the line are collect at store only now

Oh it's real. I actually went in to get clothes airers I saw on hduk and then noticed a clearance corner near the tills, how could I resist. Plus I needed a drill, can't believe I actually debated getting it

This is a real deal as I also bought 1 from my local store 2 days ago. It was on the website, but like other bargains they seem to have removed it. When I saw it online my local store had 6 in stock. Went to find one before Christmas but nothing on the shelf, then the other day I went in and they were on a discount shelf with other tool reductions.

Note this is Makita G Series, NOT LXT.

This drill is £100 in B&Q so maybe not such a great deal, though 25% is still good

Incorrect, different model altogether.

I think folks are thinking this is a better deal than it actually is.

This is NOT Makita LXT, this is Makita G Series, which are cheaper power tools aimed specifically at the DIY market.

Its a deal, as its the cheapest at the moment, but don't pick this up thinking its a top of the range Makita and you've picked up the deal of the century.

I was going by the picture that was originally posted, which was of the drill I linked. The picture has since changed.

I've deleted the original coment though so as not to cause more confusion.

A saving of £25 seems pretty good to me, plus take away 15% and the drill only costs £63.75 almost £40 cheaper. Seems pretty good to me 🤔
Thanks everyone for clarifying the model no.

I bought one November last year at b&q for £84. So this deal is slightly better.

However, the Chuck wobbled a lot and wasn't strong enough to drive wood screws through fence posts so I returned it and got an LXT.

That explains that, bit mis-leading of the OP then, possibly they've been 'duped' (as others it seems) that this was LXT....

I conceded it was still a good deal............but was merely putting it in perspective against the £283 drill that was originally posted..........!

I have also purchased a yale safe, yale digital locks, Mr beams lights, touch lamp, karcher steam cleaners, cordless hover vacuum, window vac, clothes airer, drill pieces.

Are you using the Yale digital locks on internal or external doors? A friend of mine has had 3 replacement lock's in the last 2 years, I was thinking of getting one myself, but after seeing the bad reviews and Yale telling a friend they should be used indoors I didn't bother.

Its not LXT, as previous posts, BUT its the cheapest for this particular machine/kit at the moment (unless you can post link stating otherwise..?) by around £25 it seems going by previous comment(s).

Not a 'great' deal, but a deal nonetheless.
