This is on clearance, checked my own postcode and stock available for C&C, possible delivery in other areas. The blue version of this is about £130. Still eligible for Makita's 3-year pro-use warranty.

Indeed, but it's a nice compact size and got it's uses. I tend to use mine (blue version) most, as the 1/2" is overkill most of the time for what I'm using it for.

Fit oak only from now on
None in stock anywhere in Cheshire.

Why would you be using such a low powered one for kitchen fitting? 1600 at least, this one is good for hobbyists, not for kitchen fitting.
Nearest to me 91 miles (Kingston on Thames) - don't think there'll be many out there!
Scary tool I got 1/4 router so powerful don't misuse this scares me more than a chainsaw when I use mine. I stupidly tried to widen a quite deep hole for a door handle it got stuck and literally blasted through the side of the door. Was a stupid idea but was a lesson learnt don't under estimate how powerful these are...

Exactly. Ive been working wood my whole life and don't blink using most machines but routers and spindle moulders scare the sheet out of me. Most cutting tools sever, routers just mangle stuff. Its not getting sown back on
I went to change a cutter once without unplugging it, and somehow knocked the power button. That's something you only do once

I think it's fair to say you won't get anything better for the money, or anywhere near it. I think you'd struggle to even get a crappy no-brand one at this price. I've got the blue version (at nearly three times the price) and I can't see much difference to be honest- it looks the same, same specs, etc. It's a good size as well- to my mind there's no point having a 1/4" router that's a big as a 1/2".
