I bought this for around £20 some time ago. No drill bits bigger than 6mm and a raft of useless items to get the number up. Useful range of screwdriver bits but quite fragile.

Worth having if you have no other set but not top class quality.

its a great set for the home diyer

Nice find. Definitely better than average quality. What do people expect for the money? I have a similar set and it's excellent.

I like it so much my computer wanted to say it twice!

great value for makita, heat added:)

Brilliant I have just reserved mine

£1.01 more at B&Q but been £19 at B&Q for last 6 months not even showing a discount, makes RRP of £57.20 a joke.

ordered nice one.

Nice set of bits you got there.

is this including postage?

Yes it's a good bit of kit. But not a hot deal been 17.99 quid for two years!! When I got mine

Yeah your right, probably a reoccurring deal, but nevertheless a very good one. So heat added

Deserves heat. I don't see why it's a cold deal.. whether it's been this price before or not is irrelevant to me. If it can't be had cheaper than it's a hot deal IMO.

It only seems a good deal due to the ridiculously inflated RRP claim. As many have pointed out, this is the typical price for this set. The claim on saving from RRP is hoping people will make an emotive purchase when they can at any time buy this from a number of retailers.

cold from me.

Well despite the silly RRP it's still the cheapest one I can find

I got mine at B&Q for £19.99 and it was listed as some cobblers price of £39.99 discounted !

Being the current cheapest isn't a hot deal. If it were we'd have a deal available for every item that is available to purchase in the UK....

I thought that was what this site is all about.

Aldi on Thursday , And the only thing Makita about that set is the name on the lid, All these kits are the same.

Got 1 of these in Travis perkins on offer for 10 squid +VAT about 2 months ago. The bits are average quality and the level is useless

Does this include a security torx bit by any chance aswell?

Cheers

Looks better, thanks.

I've got this .. it's a decent price compared to RRP but quite poor quality bits in my experience - quite useful for occasional DIY though.

Just got 3 sets of these "free" with purchase of cascamite glue worth £55 from westward building services.when they said it was worth £20 i lol.

These are as much use as breasts on a fish (would've put **** but it's apparently a swear word!!).

pretty useless kit....everything and nothing at the same time- maybe 4 drills in whole set that may be useful...

I bought the Aldi set last time round. It's excellent.

Aldi one far better.

Surely it is all about highlighting particularly great deals, not what is just the best available price on a given day?

If not then this site needs renaming to todaysbestprice.com, or pricerunner.com....

All IMHO.
