I have two of these. They're OK bits for home use, but there's no way they are Makita standard. I reckon someone has paid to use the name.

Great price, will lt my son know, he's a chippy and uses makita power tools. Thanks.

Bought this while fitting my kitchen. Snapped various bits using the b&q makita combi drill. Not top quality by any means, but a decent bundle for the price
Fair enough, I deleted my comment vassy. I got excited too quickly.
I found these drill bits to break easily, and was a bit disappointed
I own loads of makita tools but my past experience of makita drill bits is not good. They tend to break really easy. I would not buy any more

Shame. Any recommendations as I'm on the lookout for a new bit set like this. How is screwfix/toolshop's own brand for these sets as they have good reviews?
I have this set and drill bits break quite easily, but cant argue too much for the price. Will do for the occasional DIY around the house, but nothing too heavy duty
Hmmm these or the Bosch set recently on here??

I agree they are ok but not the best

Ditto. I've got this set. Masonry bits fried in no time.

Aye. Same question for meself...
I thought I was trying to drill into concrete or something, it was taking so long. No, I was drilling into brick, but using one a masonry bit from one of these sets.

Very disappointing, considering the brand.
These are the same price at Screwfix. Was going to get them tomorrow. Great. Saves me a drive.
Sounds like the Bosch is better purely based on negative sentiment here...
Alo have them at b and q for 20, I went with the dewalt bits and drill though
