Decent deal. My brother has one of these - he's a joiner - and he paid £60 at the time, which was considered a steal, so £50 is a bargain! He's had his for two years now, and carted it to 100's of sites, and it's still going strong.
have seen this twice in two separate building magazines this week, basic price for this one now and DAB one is around 100ish.
they are good except use up one of your spare batterys and doesnt have its own separate battery to charge up.
I have one of these, paid around £80 for it about 12 months ago. Worth every penny. The reception is great and although the power isn't much in terms of watts it more than makes up for it in the way it delivers the sound. You can also plug an mp3 player into it. I know it does not charge batteries unlike the Dewalt one however I have friends say that when charging it can interfer with the radio reception. So for under £50 just get it!
