Seems like the best price about. Was looking at the Amazon one posted here but wanted it a little sooner. Spotted this on Ebay for a little less and faster delivery.

For anyone looking for a battery and charger, here's the cheapest I've found.

Battery (£28.99): powertoolmate.co.uk/mak…htm
Charger (£26.99): powertoolmate.co.uk/mak…htm

Totals out at £79.77 which seems like a pretty good price.

    12v CXT beware!

What do you mean exactly? Not exactly clued up on these. Just spotted the good price.

It's a good price if you have a 12v CXT charger and batteries, most people have 18v LXT and may order by mistake.

Got you! Yeah I’m just trying to find the best price for the battery and charger. Looking like it’s going to come in at around £50 for both.

There's cheap knock offs of these on eBay but I've heard a number of stories about them catching fire

Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with 10.8 and 12v tools, they have their place. I have a few and they are happy driving screws in all day - just not mahoosive screws!

Any recommendations for drill bits? Basic stuff really, putting up pictures / curtains / etc..
