£174 lol

It's wood effect

The rrp is a joke. Even at the sale price it is a piece of overpriced tat. Sorry op, it's cold from me

I have 2 of these and the draws fell through, not very well made.

And where would one get decent set of drawers then?

Argos and homebase sell decent solid wood draws, obviously they are more expensive than this though. These are disposable draws as they will only last a few months to a year at max. It's definitely worth spending more money unless they are for your spare room.

We don't like your kind around here. This website has a good community of people that help each other. Shame it's full of useless pathetic trolls such as yourself. Thank god for the ignore button.

You're the troll pal.

I've got this bedroom range for my kids but different colour, wouldn't bother wasting your money, the drawers fell through with a few vests and sleep suits in

Nice price, but by the sound of it overpriced!

Maybe use a little wood glue here and there when putting together will make a bit stronger just taught id put a bit off positive to all the negative that has been on this thread (_;)

Poor quality furniture. I had the 4+2, the 5 drawer, bedside cabinet and a wardrobe. Had them a couple of years but the room in the drawers is poor and the bottoms were starting to buckle. The wardrobe is also not very deep and the doors wouldn't close properly. Changed it all (donated it to the salvation army!) for the Ikea Malm range. Excellent quality and far more roomy and sturdy

It awful, I had one of the malibu desks for like an hour, during assembly the draws broke and and it was poor quality

Worst set of drawers ever had. Lasted 3 months. Will never buy again.

hours of fun putting this together i imagine

Ikea stuff will always out perform the crud that Argos sell. The MALM range, for example, is a much better investment. I've got 3 chests and draws and 2 wardrobes (though they're not MALM) in my kids bedroom that have survived a house move and several bedroom changes. They'll be getting replaced at some point but for £40 they were a billy bargain.

Something needs to be done over these over inflated rrp prices. Idiots actually believe them !

If there's one thing I've learnt as a first time homeowner recently is stay the away from argos flat pack wood effect rubbish.

Agreed. I've got the 'hemnes' range from ikea, I think it pays to buy good quality furniture. It may hurt your wallet a little, but if it lasts for ten years and not two, it will pay for itself eventually. Buy cheap buy twice!

Have 2 of these in pink in daughters' room - all the bottoms bow quickly and I have had to reinforce with straps (wood glue didn't help, although may delay the inevitable slightly). The handles also need adjusting/tightening regularly.

As others have said, save a bit more and buy better quality.
