Nice bed, shame it’s not kingsize
Bensons for Beds have an Ash double for £250 but also 20% discount till end April so £200. Only sides are veneer unlike Ikea’s.

Not kingsize, but if you go for the EU size (£180) rather than a UK size it is ~halfway between a UK double and a UK King size

I was considering one of these a while back. The reason I decided against is the storage drawers aren't connected to the bed so they would end up looking a mess, I reckon, i.e. not straight. I went with the NORDLI bed as it had 6 drawers built in. More expensive but in my case, worth it.

According to their website, delivery is not included in the membership benefits. I have membership and 2 weeks ago wanted to get a bed delivered, I was told I need to pay £39. Membership is free, if delivery was included in it, everyone would have had have membership.

I came here to post the same. We have this bed and we have both lost too much skin to this! Good bed though.
We had one of these for 10 years and it was still solid when i took it apart - great build quality and hopefully its the same with the newer ones. Shins are going to clash with this now and then, and the side 'wing' parts (wide enough to put your phone or a cuppa on) make the bed pretty wide so make sure you've got the space.
Great bed, highly recommend

Great deal, odd how Ikea never send much marketing for these types of things to me anyway.. thanks OP

Yup it's a really nice bed but it doesn't half hurt when you get one of those sharp corners at the bottom in your shin!

Have the single version of this - drawers look fine if pushed in, they do not really go out of line.

But I don't rate the bed - as others have mentioned, shins take a battering and it looks a bit on the cheap side (MFI looking). Malm bedside drawers are very practical though.....

Agree. The drawers are totally fine. Can get tricky to clean under the bed if you don’t have space on the sides to open them all the way

Low profile bed. Great for vertically challenged people like myself.
Once again saw this post and thought of the dozens of scars on my chins. Great bed, it's solid and durable, but you will hurt yourself if you own it multiple times. On the plus side IKEA will replace any part any time as long as they still sell it. We got a new headboard after two years absolutely free.

Hmm the click and collect option is not available to family users so you have to buy it as a guest and no discount.
Check out as a family user gets the discount but that means £39 delivery charge !

Simply not true
few points
a. White colour bed is not discounted (£130 for double)
b. Storage boxes are not discounted ( £40 for pair, that you can buy later)

Voted hot, now wait for a deal on HOVAG mattress.

i am always getting injured in bed. i need a heavy duty bed to take the strain of everyday life.
The sharp edges though
I owned one of these when i was 16 and at that age I was forever banging my... shins on that very solid bed end!
Typical, the bed we want to get next comes on offer when I can't get to the store and try the mattresses out. No idea what mattress to get.In my chossen configuration looks like I would have (could) saved £41 to
