Malmaison 4* hotels have an offer of hotel night stay, 3 course dinner from Prix Fixe menu (or £24.95 pp allowance main a la carte menu) and continental breakfast for 2 people from £99 in Dec, Jan and Feb (some hotels from £85). Also availability for Oct, Nov and Mar but slightly higher prices. Maybe good for Christmas if you fancied a night away. I have listed the £99 or less dates below for the different locations.

There isn't a need for a voting system, it's very simple.

Anything posted by a Pepper expert = hot.

Anyone else = throw three dice and you'll find out.

Also if you make a lot of effort to post a deal 50% of the time you'll find out it's not an "approved merchant" and all your hard work is deleted.

Que sera.

Chin Up MrSprkle. No one's forcing you to use the site.

Speak for yourself, I have got a .45 pointed at the base of my skull as we speak.

also heat for the effort but your comeback was pretty weak.

They do a cooked breakfast to order, but it's like £6 for beans on toast.
I stayed in one recently & that is what the Receptionist said when I enquired about breakfast, which was pretty poor IMHO.

The rooms are great though, I've stayed in several througoht the UK

Stayed in the Brighton Hotel: terrible smell from bathroom, children's stencils on room walls; view of Asda carpark and miles from town centre. i paid less than this and it was not worth that COLD
Also 8% on TCB

I totally agree with comment about Brighton although we rode hire bikes the couple of miles into town which was fun....the hotel is pretty grotty

Well it wasn't meant to be a comeback I'm slightly older than 12 so won't be engaging in an argument. Good night I wish you well. Don't let them dull your sparkle.

Liverpool Mal Maison is great, stylish, relatively new and right on the waterfront.
Breakfast is really good but as pointed out anything cooked is extra and very expensive.
Beatles themed hotel with a massive yellow Submarine suspended in one of the lobby's.
The 'we all live in a yellow Submarine' played on a loop must drive the staff mad.
Anyone got sample menu for the 3 course meal?

That heat deserves heat, for the heat. I love HeatUKEffort! It's where I come to see the best effort people can find.
Reason for heat for the established and recognised posters is simple, they have more followers, they usually vote up by default. In Chi Chi's case very rare to find a dud deal, can count on one hand the number of times I've knocked his deals.

This is nothing against our resident cookie monster but just the voting practise of for gge effort I feel adds zero value to the site.
Stayed in Reading - average hotel. The Novotel round the corner is cheaper and nicer. Still a good price though.
Nice cheap way to pretend you put some effort into your hookup

Some did, some didnt. I won't name names, I think its a good idea in theory but I miss the site when heat was based off the actual deal rather than usernames and who pays commission.

I agree.

HUKD doesn't really maintain any pretense of being a "community driven" site anymore. It's an advertising channel for approved merchants. The voting mechanism is worthless. I ignore it and just have alerts set up for certain keywords.

I've found some great deals which have been voted ice cold by the '10p off a Greggs lardcake' masses.
The one in Farringdon is nice, rooms are pretty good and hotel is nice and modern.

Well situated for a couple of drinks at some nice bars and restaurants, but in a quiet street
cheers op
website is a bit useless. i click on a date that has a price and then it says the next day is not available as a check out date

It does put you off going again, but location wise and whats around the hotel i would use either Google street maps or the aerail view you then get a good idea of where everything is before booking / going. Also when you get close to where it is that BP garage ( as an example ) you saw on street maps is just down the road from where im going.

I agree , stayed there back in May caught some really good weather , probably best bit of the summer, lovely view of the marina

Price seems to go up when you get to the booking summary page.
Good deal for two over Christmas.
The operative word being "from" £99, which is for Aberdeen. Other locations start from higher amounts.

9 of 15 hotel properties have £99 rates or less, ignore what it says on the Malmaison page, have listed the dates in the post
Tried to book this for a Sat night but you have to do 2 nights in all the ones I checked near me sadly. I don't want to do 2 nights. Fri nights seem to be ok for just a 1 night stay.
