Maltesers Gift Box 360g, half price from tomorrow - £2 @ Tesco

Beats the £1 for 120g boxes that are readily available. If they will keep 'til Christmas, they might do as a stocking filler, but I suspect (in my house anyway).they won't last that long. Well worth the money at £2. Offer ends the 7th October.

Already £2 in Asda

Yummy. At the place I used to work a lady made a scrummy malteser cake , the sort of cake you can just feel your hips expanding with as you tuck in! Happy days! Heat x

Have some heat, but don't leave it near your maltesers.

Are you sure its not 360g??? Or have these been reduced in size aswell! :-)

Thanks for that. It is the 360g box. Slight typo me thinks, while thinking of the 120g box at £1.

Keep 'til Christmas?, I don't think so!

Great price

Have some heat.

I wish I had will power to buy these but every chocolate I buy before Xmas gets eaten well before it is meant to.

I bought 18 large selection boxes last year on the buy 1 get 2 free deals and ate the lot so had to buy the same again at the normal price.

oO

Thank you, planning on making some malteser trees this Christmas so these will hopefully do the job if they last that long!

£1.60 for 120g boxes at Morrisons.

Great gift.

Still £4.00 as of this morning in the Merthyr Tydfil store :-(

Offer is showing online, as well as instore for me. Online for Tesco is a definite indication of a national deal. I would have taken them through the checkout, if they had gone through at £4, it would have been straight to custumer services and would have been expecting a £2 refund on the overcharge, as well as an additional £2, following their DTD policy. If they can't manage their tills and shop displays properly, them it's not output fault if they have to then give away goods for nothing. X)

Still £4 at Bishop Auckland this morning (about an hour ago)

If you check the deal link and see my comment (12) above, I would seriously get myself to customer services. You might well end up with these for nought, if they go through the till at £4.

Just bought two boxes of these in a tesco express.....:)

Thank you, heat added, 56p per 100g, beats £1 for the 135g pouches which is the best price I usually see them at when on offer.

I had the same situation with the butter croissants when they were on offer for £1 and my store charged me £1.50. I printed off the product page to show them but they just said it was an online deal only.

I can see after clicking the link, that if you then click on the offer link, it says "The items below are only available for deliveries on or before Monday 7th October 2013. To take advantage of this offer, add Half Price Was £4.00 Now £2.00"

I suppose there is an argument there that this implies an online only offer, although the counter argument would be that can be taken as, if you want an online delivery it has to be done before the stated date, not that it's not actually available instore. It should at least be clearer one way or the other.

Where they the advertised £2? Some people reporting that they are still £4 in stores?

Yes they were in end of aisle promotions!

Point well made, I think a re-visit is in order this evening!

Still £4 in Tesco Extra Sutton this evening, but there'n' again practically all of the deals shown the last couple of days for Tesco are non-existent in this store, choccies, biscuits, sealant................
and the customer service assistants are so c**p that it really isn't worth the hassle of buying them and then arguing over the overcharge

I can confirm they are 2 pounds.

Got for Xmas but date is 22/12/2013. Crafty.

Just opened them and they are lush.

That's good, you have your excuse for eating them now then - before Xmas! (_;) Enjoy

I always get plus points with the Missus when I show her a box of these, then I get 2 days of silent treatment when she realises the box is already empty. Can't think of a better weekend, thanks!

A re-visit confirmed £2. Although I was slightly disappointed as I was all geared up to approach customer services lol.

Empty shelves at mine today. Oh well, he who hesitates, but I haven't given up just yet!

Yes, the missus missed these and the £1, 2L Coke Zero last night. Will be checking a couple of other Tesco stores for these and other things today, so like you said, we haven't given up hope yet.

Hoorah! Success! Arrived at Tesco, straight to the confectionery, no messing, got 5 boxes and left 3 on the shelf for the next person.

Oh there is a God!

Patience, my friend, is a wonderful virtue. Well in! Although, I'm not quite sure about you morals. I may have been tempted to just take the 8, and say "I've got mine, everyman/woman to themselves".
