Thanks OP will give it a try.

Why this is going cold? Those who are voting cold does not bother to give reason for voting cold. This is free.. is it costing anything. Am I missing something?

Have some heat

Seems to be just an on-demand scanner. I wonder if it's any better than the world leading Malwarebytes, which has always been free.

Tried both and can say Malwarebytes is way better.........but even that's not that lightning quick proactively
Not like my Symantec........sniffs anything remotely dodgy in the air and it's long fracking gone

This looks like some sort of cut down/modified version of 360 Total Security. You have to turn on the Avira engine manually I think, which is one of the best antivirus engines around.

Correct.

Correct.

I thought their trials were always 14 days?
Personally, I hate the latest version that forces you to take the premium trial. When you turn off the premium features, it keeps popping up reminders.
I've used malwarebytes for years but will look for other scanners if they continue this approach.

Might give this a go, seem to have a re-direct thing going on with Firefox - it's like when you mis-press a link (or even click a link) it heads off to some BS advert or other but not 100% of the time.

Spybot and Mallwarebytes isn't getting it resolved yet.

The problem does not occur when using Chrome or IE.

AVG often intercepts the problem but again not 100%:

"Threat secured - we've safely aborted connection on 37.139.28.159 because it was infected with URL:Mal"
