Pushchairs and buggies confuse me. I don't need one yet, but will likely be having kids in the next few years...why would my friend need an Icandy pushing £1,000 when she could get one of these that would do for 3 years? Genuine question, its bewildering.

Because your friend is a moron.

Would recommend this pushchair especially for the bigger/taller children, purchased mine for £100 last year from Argos.

Oh this comment will come back to haunt you X)

I've had many buggies and I agree, some are not worth the money. But, if this is anything like the M&P Luna pushchair they used to do, it will tip with a child younger than 9 months in it, the wheels will buckle and you will find your child is a bit exposed with no support either side of the buggy.... This would be great for an older baby, but you need something more for a tiny baby

The same reason people pay $10k for a smatch watch when a $150 does the same thing. :-P

Take it the maxi cosi cabrio fix fits on this push chair?

Its more comparable to buying a car, depends what you will be using it for (off road, city driving etc) the difference in the feel of buggies is very wide, I did pay a lot for mine, the more expensive ones keep a good resale value. I have my stokke still being used for my 3 year old and will use for my second due soon, still looks like it did when I bought it, no buckled wheels, bits falling off which I hear about with cheaper buggies. I often hear about people that end up having to buy another as they don't fit from newborn to 2/3yrs old. Its also personal preference, I spent out a lot on buggy and car seats due to the amount of use required.

I owned a mams and papas pushchair once and it was terrible. wheels wore unevenly and was an embaresment to be seen with aftr 6 months

I know, I also laugh at people with pushchairs who have unevenly worn wheels!

Fascinating, thank you. Its a confusing and expensive world in which you parents live, wish I didn't feel so darn broody wanting to join you oO

I would not recommend m&p buggies. Also their customer service is shocking!

I thought the same thing and then i had kids. Its something you use everyday, have to constantly take up and down have to manoeuvre in and out of many different places -supermarkets, buses etc and needs to be comfortable for your little bundle of joy- cheap ones are often not good for any of this. I have two or three friends who went cheap and ended up buying a better one within 3 months, skimp on something else would be my advice

Iv had brilliant service, they stopped producing the pram I put a deposit on in store without telling me and after a very hormonal cry down the phone to them they found my pram and all the accessories for my pram at a reduced price and also sent me a £25 gift voucher!
Just bought the armadillo city last week and its brilliant!! Looking forward to taking it to Spain

I had the mamas and papas Luna which is very similar to this and the folding mechanism broke within 6 months-very disappointing

Looking for a cheap pram for 4month old to take on holiday. Any better deals than this?
