Agreed  good price though, hot.

Not a very good car seat, very uncomfortable for a newborn, no side impact protection. Good price, but for this price I got a far superior car seat, much more comfy and suitable for a newborn and with impact protection.

Brilliant car seat. Solid and well built. Has been this price or close to it several times before at argos though.

care to let us know which is the better one?

i am interested in this cos my 4 month old hates being in the bebeconfort creatisfix!

If its the old version then i agree its not very good, if its the new "SIP" version then it has very good head protection as we had it for our daughter when she was little and that was 2 years ago, if its not the "SIP" version then its very old stock they are selling.

If anyone wants the Which car seat report them PM me your email addy and i will send it over.

I disagree. I had this car seat for my dd and had no problems or criticisms whatsoever. Clipped straight from her Pramette travel system to the car base or vice versa. Solid, well built, and comfy. Great price!

We had a Maxi-cosi for my little girl which she pretty much fell asleep in as soon as you put her in! Was really good wearing and will deffo still be OK for the next. Really handy too cos we had the clips that just slotted it onto the bugaboo without disturbing her.

hmm, this is interesting. cos my boy has almost outgrown his creatisfix at only 4 months!! - the maxi cosi is only slightly bigger than the creatis fix tho.

Hi
I posted this viaggio deal on 30/1 on a thread for a mamas and papas car seat available at Argos which was a similar price. So it has been available for £48 since at least then, I made that comment because my previous 5 babies all had Britax (Rock a Tot style) car seats, which I thought were very good. With number 5, a friend borrowed my Britax one (baby came early) and I borrowed my sister's one of these (this model) I couldn't believe how awful it was. The baby was far too upright and it's neck (due to the position) was not supported or comfortable. Yes it was easy to use, but I couldn't wait to get the Britax one back.
That said, I would never ever use a carseat as part of a travel system, babies should lie flat and only go in car seats if they are on necessary CAR journeys, so for me, whether it fits onto a chassis is not an issue. I know people love to say that you don't have to wake the baby to move the seat from the car to the chassis, but it's a small price I am willing to pay!!!! You can always (yes really) carry them if they cry and want a cuddle.
Anyway, for this one, I bought one from a Boots half price sale, it had done well in the Which report (but I bought it in August!!! and it's been in the attic since, so I can remeber which model it is!!!) I will have to get it down as nearly due, so I'll have a look.

I posted this on the other thread as it fits the O-zon Pushchair currently half price in Argos, so if a 'travel system' is your thing then that would be good value.

I had this Carseat, the SIP version in the very same colourway (dot to dot). This model does have deep side supports and side impact protection and i I had no problems with it. It's very robust and hard wearing hence now 2 years on it is washed and in the loft ready for the next one . I did buy an insert from M & P that supports a new born head . I only used the seat as part of my travel system for about 4 weeks though because it was so heavy when clipped onto my pliko. HEAT added, coz its a good price.

I think this is the pre SIP model, as the base looks quite different to this one on the Mamas and Papas site...

Well I am having my 6th newborn...I think you'll find when you have your first, it is quite easy to tell if they are comfortable...by looking at them.:p And if this is the pre-side impact version, then the support is really bad and the head lolls about. I have seen the newer ones, and they appear far better, but O wouldn't buy one, because they are still too upright for my liking.
