Been looking for a good urban pushchair for our DD2 due in a few months and came across the armadillo flip (youtube.com/watch?v=FUggFmy2S-M) - it folds rather nicely - doesn't weight a lot so easy to carry around.

Has the usual features one expects from a premium pushchair (forward/backward facing, one hand fold, big shopping basket, sturdy build quality to name a few). It is very spacious so should be good for upto 3 year or possibly more.

Can easily turn into a travel system - compatible with the Aton, MaxiCosi car seats, would need an adaptor though (http://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-armadillo-flip-car-seat-adaptors-cybex-aton-aton-q-cloud-qmaxicosi-pebble-cabriofixbesafe-izi-go/159946800/type-i/)

Gets very favourable reviews from most reputed review websites and VLoggers.

Most other retailers are price matching/selling it for the same price as well. With the features and a reputed name - one can't go much wrong with it.

I have also compared it to M&P's Sola2, Chicco Urban, Quinny Buzz Extra and the BuggaBoo Bee - looks very good value for money although for some of the pushchairs one can argue they are more sturdy/serve different purposes etc. - but more a matter of personal choice I suppose.

Specs from M&P's website:-

Age Guideline: Birth- 15kg.
Dimensions: H: 98 x W: 55 x L: 92cm Approx.
Folded Dimensions: H: 75 x W: 55 x L: 25cm Approx.
Weight: 9kg Approx.
Includes: Chassis, Seat Unit, Chest & Crotch Pads, Shopping Basket and Raincover.

M&P's are also selling it ofcourse - but can't post a deal directly for their website as HUKD won't let me, so if someone wants to buy straight from them they can do so too:-

mamasandpapas.com/ran…eek

There is also a 15 quid gift voucher if you shop for more than 30 (mamasandpapas.com/our…php?cm_re=Permanent-_-Homepagepod9-_-SaleRetention) which can then be used on your next shopping online or in store.

Don't forget a 5% quidco if buying straight from M&P. And of-course there is free delivery.

Hope it helps someone.

Aww - don't confuse me It tooks me ages to narrow down on it and just hit the order button.

What else would you recommend - in case?

I ordered one recently for this price for my 6 month old as a lighter 2nd pram for in and out the car that folds with the seat on and parent faces. So far I'm happy to it, watched YouTube videos as we found there's a bit of a knack with the fold. The hood coverage is great and a nice big basket. This site is good for looking into prams, she gives it 5 stars bestbuggy.co.uk/cat…xt/
I ordered this after trying it out in store loved the size of the seat and hood. There is a cocoon available for babies if you prefer over the carrycot and currently on offer at £35.

Thanks, yeah that's the one I am hoping to buy using the eVoucher that M&P would hopefully send me - as I don't see the need for a carrycot - unless I am misinformed
I got through a few strollers with my 1st and wanted something this time around that was suitable from birth but parent facing without having a huge pushchair.. I don't have the carrycot but my 10 week old is fine with a comfy footmuff on there.. there is a knack to folding it but there are instructions on the material handle incase you forget when you are out. Only thing I would say is it is better for lighter use..i.e if you drive. The wheels on the fli xt are more suitable for different terrains as they are larger.. but as I only use mine for shopping etc and I drive it does the job.

School runs and the shopping trips are the main usage for me - and that also involves taking the pushchair up/down the stairs from my flat - so has to be light and easy fold. Also for the occasional holidays involving taking them on flights. Not so much hilly areas/rugged terrain usage per se.

I took a long hard look at it at my local BabiesRUs - but it felt really small to me (good till 2 year possibly) - has a small basket (hard to access) and the wide wheels + fold size - made me opt against it. The looks and the name of the brand did make me covet it for a long time though.

Does this pushchair come with the car seat too for that price ??

Need to buy one separately.
Been struggling to find a pushchair that would in my tiny car boot and this is compact enough to fit. Went into store this afternoon and really liked it so ordered online via Quidco. Some mixed reviews so hoping the quality is ok and it lasts.

It's really compact and relatively light weight. Has a 2 year warranty so in case of any issues you can get it sorted, but I hope there are no issues
