Good deal

so many people use booster seats for older kids but these offer much better protection from side impact.

Anyone know a decent isofix version at a reasonable price?

Thank you for posting. I do need one of these seats so its at front of mind now. Had a look on argos and there seem to be cheaper seats of equal quality. Any reason you chose the mamas and papas seat over the cosatto skidaddle ones? I'd hate to buy the cheaper one and then realize its not as good.

Its hard to make a decision! There are two others on the Mama & Papas website as well:

mamasandpapas.com/pro…-i/
mamasandpapas.com/pro…-i/

To be honest though, i have found the Mama & Papas stuff to be not that good, thinking about a Britax seat instead

I've used their products before and was content with the quality. check up on the reviews before buying....

....the deals on HUKD are for awareness of pricing (imho)...some responses are advisory but the final decision is ALWAYS yours.

Would never use a 1-2-3 seat, and I can't believe they are advising putting a 9mnth old in one of these, keep them rear facing as long as possible then swap to a proper group 1 (can last upto them being 4), then a group 2/3.

If you're in an accident with a 9mnth old in one of these the outcome could be a lot worse than with a proper group 1, or even better them still being in a rear facing.

I've just brought this one for my little girl yesterday it's a great carseat

Maybe not a decent price but I bought the recaro young sport plus and the additional isofix base.Come to £178 not a great deal but you can't put a price on a child's safety. Also stage 1,2,3.Great well made seat from the professionals in performance seats and it matches my recaro car seats. This looks a decent seat and cheap at the price for those on a budget.

The difference between the Mercury and the Aureus is just cosmetic, therefore I would go for the Mercury, the Arona looks to have a bit more padding but at double the price! maybe worth it for long journeys, short journeys the Mercury is a good solid seat and has a lot more seat padding then other manufacturers!

As jonohanson states, I would not have a 9 month child in these seats, keep rear facing as long as possible but at 18 months I have found these seats perfect, my daughter did not like her Britax group 2 seat as she found it tight!
