Ignore me. When I actually went to check out it only took 5% off the original price. Whoopsie!

This is a sola city, not a sola. Please change description.

It is Sola and it is a great bargain saving you at least £200. I don't think it really matters if Sola 2 is out this one is still good its not like a new it's is out and the old one is outdated (and crashing) add a nice footmuff and that can change the look too.

"Travel system" ... For flips sake, it's a bloody pram.

I need a new pair of "advanced journey platforms" .. Or shoes even!

Hot from me! I'd definitely be considering this if I hadn't already made our purchase last week!
We got the Zezu pram / pushchair from Kiddicare for £150 which I've bought some adapters for to make it into a travel system for our MaxiCosi car seat.

Realistically the chair can be had for £180, the car seat £55 and the adapter £22, not quite the 'massive' saving but a deal all the same.

Even based on them prices it's a 20% saving. Voted hot and ordered.

I dont have kids.
I have no idea about the price of push chairs.
But £200 for a push chair?
Is this not over the top?

hmmm, people have different views, some won't spend more than a hundred ,some can easily throw in a thousands to get more than 10 pushchairs for only 1 or 2 kids, have you heard of pramaddict/buggyaddict??

I bought this pram from prammart for 549 sickening !! I haven't received it yet feel like cancelling & reordering !!!

Well, the kids who are actually sitting in the pushchair, certainly wont care whether they are in a £100 buggy or a £1000+ buggy, which is plated with gold and diamonds.

If people are really spending £500 for a pushchairs, I think its more of a status symbol.
I cant think of any other reason.

Anyway, as you were gents/ladies.
Have a nice day.

I thought the same until a couple of days ago when i started to look around, remember that this includes a car seat which could decide on if your child lives or dies, a car seat that is being sold on its own for over £100 in most places. Your comment was very similar to a post I made on another thread yesterday where someine had a 'bargain' £500 pushchair on its own. Realistically this is a good price for what you get. Theres only one place selling the car seat for £55 everyehere else is over £100 which makes the package great value. Having just been to mamas and papas for a test drive (where it is £299 for tge chair alone) I have now purchased this. Its a good build and easy to use, lightweight too. Thanks OP, saved me lots of trawling.
BTW anyone found a good price for the isofix base?

Stay away from this site.. Just lookup the complaints on the various sites.. they always have the lowest price you can get but don't fall for that.. you will wait forever to get your order and then finally have to cancel. I was lucky to get my refund but others had have lots of problems.. essentially every 2 weeks you will get an email saying that your order has been delayed due to some reason or the other.. for those still willing to gamble, good luck!

I got this pricematched at my local M&P branch and they were lovely. Delayed delivery to Sep too as I'm not due till Nov and have the bonus of local Customer Service.

I've bought most of my nursery from them and with the exception of one item taking a month to turn up (which the site warned it would before I ordered) I've received everything within a reasonable time. Their customer service is always quick to respond too (only used the email though, don't know about phone).

You were lucky, since we were around anyway, I called into store with my order to see if theyd match like they claim to do. £429 was the best they could offer. Called when I got in and was told as it was a 3rd party (bounty) offer, they refused it. I hate when they just bail in their own t&c's it was their own bloody make after all, they must be selling it to somebody at that price!

Blueroo, apparently someone had already been in before me but they turned them down as it was a pre order and they can only do it if it's instock..I said fine, I'll preorder it then as I don't need it till October and they still said no. The Sales assistant carried on demonstrating for me and then the manager came over and said they would do it if its a pre order. Which store did you go to?

Just had a call to say stock not arriving so want to 'upgrade' to sola2 chevron.

Not sure if this is better or not?

How much for? The Sola2 is supposed to be great but the price would make a huge difference!

Theyve given the option of free upgrade to the sola2 chevron package with footmuff and bag. Which after some research is only part sola 2, the chassis to be precise the rest appears nit to be sola2.

Sola 2 colour of my choice for £40

I ended up with the sola2 chevron package, but they changed the hood for a plain black one with a peekaboo flap. They also included the footmuff and bag both in plain black. Still comes with aton carseat and adapters and a rain cover too.
All in all, not bad for £199.

The chevron package is not the same as the sola2 chassis, it's the cheaper version and the 'bargain' they offered can be had for similar at winstanleys pram world. Customer service from precious little one was appalling and I wouldn't go near them ever again. Took a number of phone calls to them, bounty and trading standards to get my refund, dreadful !

No, there's confirmation that the sola2 chevron is the sola2 chassis, the seat is the same as in the original sola. This is info from mamas and papas.
But with the swap out for the new hood etc its not the same as the package at pramworld, which btw is still £250.
For £199 Im totally happy. The sola and the sola city were very similar when I went to look instore.
I really must disagree regarding customer service so far. I was given the option to change for free, the extra for full sola2 or a refund. I only speak as I find and they have been fine.

Well just received my sola/sola2 mash up and ive got to say im very happy.
We got the addition of the m&p footmuff abd changing bag and the swapped out the hood for the one with the peekaboo hood, so all good.
