I have posted this before but I can't believe the stores still have them. I noticed them in the Wetherby store and the Knottingly store, still sitting behind the counter. You have to ask them to check the price but they definately still have them.

Yes, it's still the perfect gift for a feeble-minded loved one, even after all this time.

Hot for a gift, but that is all! X)

Another Christmas present sorted. thanks

Hot, but never seem to have any of these good offers in stock at my morrisons

Agreed. DVD version looks and sounds the same.

hahaha idiot! I would suggest specsavers for the glasses and hearing aid if you can't tell the difference. I have both versions and the difference is miles wide.

yeah, on a CRT TV

You might want to update the title of the post - it's Mamma Mia, not Mama Mia. Just in case (God forbid!) anyone was running a search for it.

Dreadful film - but very good price for a blu ray so heat added!

Terrible film, but as its a £3 Blu-ray it'll surely skyrocket on hotukdeals (_;)

Agreed. The film is awful but as a deal it's great, so heat is added.

Have to agree...awful film. This missus loved it though. Could never watch it again....so why buy the DVD?

Cold from me .. had me walkin all the way to town to find Barnsley Store has none .. !!

None in Sheffield Hillsboro...

Terrible movie, although for a bluray its a good price

Horrible horrible torturous 'musical'. Great price if you are one of the many who seemed to love this creation, but for the rest of us it's £3 overpriced.

By the way...you'll probably want to edit your info and call it Blu-ray instead of Blu Ray, as I got pulled up on it recently myself and you'll only be laying yourself wide open to a barrage of saddo geek patronising comments. In fact no, don't bother...stuff 'em. ;-)

My wife was hassling me to take her when it was at the pictures but I managed to avoid it so got her the DVD a couple of Christmas's ago. It's still unopened!

Shows what the hype was like at the time (feelgood, dancing in the aisles type of film, etc). Judging by the comments above I didn't miss much.

A genuinely appalling film.

Truly, truly dreadful, cringe inducing pap.

I was the same, then I watched it and have since watched it 10+ times.

No it really is average.

The picture almost looks blurry on the blu ray.

You seem to be deluded into thinking those jpegs are what blu ray actually looks like. Those images are in fact very heavily compressed 137.12 kB...lol so don't go commenting on what blu ray looks like by using them as a comparison.

oh and no where in the review does he comment on what TV, blu ray player he used so comparing films like for like is stupid.

I actually own and have watched the blu ray. So im just giving my opinion on it. And like the review i posted above, i feel the image looked almost blurry like. I was in no way basing my comments on a bunch of pictures.

in that case I may I suggest specsavers.co.uk or a new TV/ blu ray set up

I think that was unnecessary. A opinion is a opinion you don't have to insult people.

Thank god for the new ignore button.

some people need to calm down. i think of myself as a bit of an audio nazi and can discern discreet sounds, but with a decent transfer and a decent set up you can't tell the differance in audio.
UNLESS you compare the blu AND dvd.

was watching constantine on dvd the other day ( have the blu ray as well; currently pinched from my blu stack)and i genuinely thought the dvd sounded better

In that case I'll give it a go. Worth a punt.

haha you should get out more if you think that was an insult. I'm guessing you've reported spec savers for abusing all it's actors?
