Indeed, and if you keep reading you'll find recipes that require other ingredients, such as sulugani, kefir, chicken hearts, chopped pampushky and smetana. If you've got them handy then I'm sure it'll be fine.

Sulguni is a strong cheese, probably not something you will find easily in the UK. I'm sure you can find a substitute though.
Kefir is not hard to find.
Smetana is sour cream.

If you are interested, I'm sure you can find a way to make most of these recipes
