Zack Snyder directs this action adventure feature, produced by Christopher Nolan and based on the DC Comics hero. After being sent to Earth by his parents to prevent him from dying in the destruction of his home planet Krypton, an infant boy is taken in by Kansas farmer Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and his wife Martha (Diane Lane), who name the child Clark. Growing up Clark (Cooper Timberline/Dylan Sprayberry) begins to discover the true potential of the superpowers he possesses but with this comes a sense of responsibility. In his 20s Clark (Henry Cavill) gets a job as a newspaper reporter at 'The Daily Planet' where he meets and later becomes romantically involved with colleague Lois Lane (Amy Adams). When an evil force threatens the Earth and its inhabitants, Clark resumes his true identity as a superhero and fights to save the planet. Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe and Laurence Fishburne co-star.

I refuse to pay cinema money, very few films are worth that unless its a really good horror (and these are few and far between because we live in a society in which we are used to seeing "shocking" things, mostly just outside greggs).

It wasnt awful, just didnt really do it for me.

know what you mean the cost is shocking, thankfully we don't have that problem down here. We have a local independent cinema which costs £2.50 to watch a film. Dirt cheap, and a lovely cinema with huge screens, huge lounge seats and surround sound as good as your rip off Vue, Cineworlds. Also, they have Butterkist

£2.50 is **** all, me and mates go to see loads of films would normally just wait for bluray. That sort of price takes the sting out of the decision!

yeah thats a good price, I would be all over that, but my nearest big cinema is Vue, they don't do annual passes. Our local University in Canterbury is very good as well, it plays all the latest independent flicks which dont necessarily make it to cinema
