Is that helpful guys?

How fare in advance can you book?

great find.

Good spot, cheapest I've managed to find is £166

What happens if the first flight is delayed, never caught a connecting flight before.

Original Poster

Yes, there are cheaper ones too, depends on duration as some of the longer 7 days plus are cheaper. Be aware of price changing at checkout though as I had a couple at £166 but at checkout they went up, what dates are you getting at that?

Supermod

Superb find

£166 leaving December 2nd returning December 9th. (2014)

I found May at £200 on Travel Bag 12th -19th May at latest so far and got to booking page, prices changing all the time and may change at checkout so BE QUICK GUYS as even some of the earlier ones keep changing!!!!!

Can someone just confirm the stop over of just under 2 hrs is long enough... Im so close to booking eeee... going to be a great christmas present this is!

Also is 5 nights long enough to do the usual tourist things in NYC?

can anyone share any light on what the weather will be like during the dates given?

Original Poster

Yes, should be long enough to transfer, if in doubt go for the longer ones. I did a week in NY (7 days) and filled each day and I am seriously tempted to go again pre-Christmas shopping trip, but 5 days is good too. BOOK IT!!!

COLD! We went first week of April and had lovely sunny days but only about 12 degrees if that. It was the wind that made it feel worse though, but didn't stop us doing lots. I really want to book this but can't justify going NY again this year . . .

No, miss the first leg and the rest is cancelled.

Re transfer, they should honour this as it is booked inc connections, so they should deal with any misses.

is this likely to be honored?

Who would deal with it the flight company or the company who its booked under?

Yay, thank you so much...been holding out for months waiting for a deal to take my partner to New York. Booked end of April for 5 nights

Any more dates please?

100% won't be honoured. I booked a flight with them as they were £10 cheaper on a £500 per person flight, they said they'd confirm it within 72 hours instead of just charging me and sending the tickets.

Instead they emailed the next day and asked for an extra £30 per person as the flight had sold out. I questioned why they could get me on the flight for more money if it had sold out?! I then got another email with very poor English with something about the flight being during the school holidays?!

Anyway I told them to not go ahead and I booked directly with emirates instead. Still it took over 72 hours for them to remove the hold on the funds they had reserved for it. So unless you want to tie up some money for a while then I wouldn't do it.

The airline I would guess. . . if unsure look for the flights with the slightly longer connection time.

Just booked 7days (5 nights once you take travel off off) for £370. The most ludicrous impulse buy I've ever made. What have you done to me HUKD? I hope it's honoured...

You need an esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/

Simple to get unless you have a criminal record of ANY kind.
