Go onto Skyscanner website - search from manchester - sharm, and dates click all year.. then you should be able to choose.

Example:

June 4th - June 18th

Easyjet are fast becoming on of the best airlines from Manchester - Just been to Sofia (£40 return each), Helskini from Feb for £50 return, Marrakesh £60 return and this deal. V good prices for these 'longer' hall trips rather than france/spain etc.

do you need a visa to go to egypt?

OMG this is sooooooooooooo hot!!!

Just got flights from manchester for 3, a weeks all inclusive holiday at a decent, yes decent hotel (listed in thomas cook brochure, but booked with travelrepublic) and still had over £100 quid change from a grand!!!!!

This is one of the best deals EVER!!!!! - you would normally pay more than this for flights alone!!!

VISA - no, you don't need one - just fill a form in on the plane and you're sorted

You do actually need a Visa in egypt you will pay around £13, be careful as they will try and rob you at the desk

You DO need a Visa for Egypt, however, in an attempt to boost tourism, if you are flying to Siani peninsular (where Sharm airport is) and are staying there for 15 days or less (and have not plans to go to Cario etc), then you can get a free Visa stamp at Sharm airport (you can't get the stamp if you fly into anywhere else you will have to buy a Visa). Visa cost £10/ 15$US last time I checked, but this can change. You just buy it when you arrive if you need it (if you plan to go away from Sharm/Dahab etc).

In sharm airport there will be a queue of people buying Visas, just go straight to the passport check and they will ask if you have a visa, just so 'No, i'm staying in Siani' and you'll go through.

Competitive prices for all those locations - although I'm not particularly interested in long "halls", prefer the bedrooms!
Time to bring down prices on the short "haul" trips to more reasonable levels.

cant see any for £52. anyone having the same problems?;-)

You'll probably see more Man United tops in Egypt, than you will in Manchester.

Yawn.

Just booked a week at Tropicana Azure Club through Thomson, came to £724 (all inclusive) after the £100 xmas discount. Flights would cost us around £300 return and the apartment was going to cost around £450-500, plus taxi transfers once there, so it actually worked out cheaper for us to go with Thomson. Even without the £100 discount, it would have only been £25-75 cheaper but we would have to pay for taxi transfers.

I always used to "DIY" holidays, but the last couple of years its been cheaper to book with Thomson over xmas!

And just how long is your 'hall'? (Mine's about 20 feet).

You do not need a visa if you are visiting the sinai peninsula unless you plan on taking excursions to say Cairo or Luxor..If you were staying in say Hurghada,Makadi Bay, El Ghona then you will need a visa..

It's quite expensive to book hotels in Sharm though. Also, flights are mega-expensive during school holidays.

I normally DIY holidays but with Sharm I would book a holiday package (I'm Egyptian by the way). Last time I found a holiday through teletextholidays.com in a 4* hotel, 7 days, including breakfast, for £285pp.

I'm not voting as this has been the price for years.
