Manchester/London or London/Manchester Virgin Trains £1 tickets now booking until 16th May

This offer has again been extended to 16th May. I know these fares are brilliant for those able to take advantageof them. I've just done a return from Manchester to London with my wife and three kids for £30 all in using the £3 each way fares. The trains run in either direction every 30 minutes so you've plenty of choice.

Here's the information you need to adhere (strictly) to : -

The tickets must be printed on your own printer on A4 paper, or you can now have the ticket sent to your mobile phone......! !
The person who pays for the tickets must be one of the passengers and carry the payment / credit card used to purchase the tickets.
You MUST travel on the EXACT train you have booked. There is zero felxibility on these tickets. If you miss the train you have booked - then it's tough. You will not be permitted to transfer the ticket to the next train.

And that's it...... a brilliant deal if you are able to take advantage of it.......

sounds great, can you use this ticket and board at say Birmingham or Wolverhampton, or must you get on at London/Manchester?

Or at milton keynes something, cos this would be good =]

any one know of a similar deal from cardiff to london? :whistling:

do these trains not run on weekends?

Break of Journey

You may not break and resume your journey at a station in-between except to change to/from appropriate connecting trains where these are shown on your ticket(s).

You must board and alight at the stated departure and arrival stations. You may not board or alight at other points on the route. If you do a penalty or full fare may apply.

they keep extending this offer, hope they have in in june too

does anyone know if there is anything good to do there as a day out ie a shopping centra worth going to look at

If you're planning travelling on a Saturday or a Sunday the trains take nearly 4 hours too...... they're not allowed to travel fast due to all the work going on at weekend on the West Coast line......
