Excellent camera bag. Great for the tripod pocket on the side. Normally £110 but can often find the black version for around £100. Not normally this cheap though so a great price.

The Manfrotto Advanced Travel Backpack in grey is made up of two compartments; the bottom takes photographic equipment (a DSLR with attached lens, 1-2 additional lenses, a flash, plus accessories) and the top section holds all of your personal belongings. There is also a dedicated sleeve on the back for a 13" laptop and a dedicated, extendable side pocket for carrying a Befree tripod. The internal dividers can be removed to convert into an everyday backpack.

i have this bag in brown and its very good quality!

Its better if you buy mb-bp-e essential camera bag for £32 (current price) I bought it for £25.49 and it has a lot room for other accessories as well. It would be not same choice for everyone but i like the bag to open from top to bottom not side by side.

I managed to keep 550d with lens attached 24-105mm f4 lens. 70-200mm f2.8 is ii, 50mm f1.8, 18-55mm kit lens, 80-200mm old canon lens, filters, memory cards, lens cleaner and a blower.

Good alternative, but I do prefer side opening, so much better to get access to equipment without having to take bag off (slingshots are my bag of choice)

Mine too. So much easier to get your camera out if its in your bag and there is an action shot you need to capture quickly

I'm sorry but I'd have to disagree that an "essentials" range backpack was the better choice when compared to the more expensive/substantial "advanced" range...

The cheaper essentials bag example has:

No external tripod connections
No laptop compartment/section
Smaller internals
Less padding/protection
No rain protector (that I can see)

I would agree that side opening isn't to everyone's taste though.

I would like to say that you should have a look once youtube review to get an idea what essential backpack offers.

Essential backpack: youtu.be/eh4…i5g

Advanced backpack: youtu.be/V84…ZQM

There is a tripod mount and laptop compartment plus it offers to keep all other small accessories as well. It has a thick padding. But as i said everyone has a different choice. Some people like side opening and some like top opening.

I am not arguing that not to buy other bags but essential bag has option to remove inner paddings so you can use as a normal backpack as well if you don't want to carry camera with you while travel.

If i get a chance i will upload a picture to prove my point.

Edit:
Now i am providing a link so everyone can see that i managed to fit my SLR, 5 lenses, flash, blower, cables etc, tripod plus laptop compartment. And yes this is essential backpack.

Now please if anyone has advanced backpack please upload a pictures to prove that if it is possible to squeeze 5 lenses, flash, laptop and tripod.

Please don't forget to see youtube reviews by provided links.

So I've ended up getting three Manfrotto camera bags. This one, the rear compartment one and the Active backpack 1. All yet to arrive but does anyone have an opinion as to which can fit the most in real life?
