Bought one a fair while ago. It's well built and it's come in handy. Well worth this price for a decent bit of kit.
This is actually a decent stand. I've got one that i keep in my camera bag. It doesn't get used as much now as i prefer to use a full sized tripod. I did a quick review on this when i first had it for anyone who's unsure what the tripod is like -

I was going to say the same thing. A solid little tripod!
Great to carry about. Found it really useful to use as either a handle at times or for just leaning against other structures, save scratching the base of my camera.
Excellent tripod. I've been using it for about 5 years now and it holds my Nikon 5500 without any problems.

The one you reviewed is the more expensive evo 2 model

Yep.. but disappointed as I watched the review then realised this £12 job is a far less advanced version.

Many audio recorders have camera mount option remember.

I have both versions. I prefer the cheaper option. The extended legs are harder to find a suitable place to mount it as they can’t be locked in different spreads only leg length.

Depends on the intended use I suppose, I think I’d prefer the Evo 2 and I doubt the PIXI would support my DSLR

I bought the evo 2 when it was on offer around the £20 mark not sure of the exact price but it is a nice small tripod. Just bought a small sony camera and it's great for that to use as a tripod and also a handle. And also just like to say really good quality. So I would think this tripod the op has posted would be great for the small compact cameras as a handle or tripod

£20 sounds good. I’ll wait to ride down a camels hump..
Handy little table top tripod use mine quite a lot. Same price at GWCameras on Ebay if you want to keep independent camera shops alive.
Currently £12.99, I apparently bought one in Nov 2016 for £11.24 delivered. Had to be a HUKD deal! Didn't come with a time machine, sadly.
