Manhattan Satin Ceiling Fan - Nickel @ Argos £60

Found 29th May 2015
Have been looking to get a ceiling as my current floor standing fan is an eyesore. I have had my eye on the Manhattan Ceiling Fan as it looks great and the reviews are good and it's very quiet.

It retails for around £99 but has been reduced to £74.99. I managed to bring the price down to £60 by using the promotional code "HOME20" which knocks £15 off.

Reserved online and quoted "HOME20" at the till in my local Argos store.

Hope this helps someone.

great quality fan can't see why cold

I looked at this ceiling fan previously but was put off by the reviews on it taking a bulb of 40w max. I'd prefer something brighter but it is a decent price for anyone that doesn't need a bright room.

Probably rated at 40w max due to power limitations due to need to drive a motor and possibly heat from lamp. However I suspect you could use a Led lamp with a low wattage but higher light output than 40w. These do not get hot either.

I would spend another few quid and getting something like this.

I have this in the bedroom,it's very quite, has a 10 year guarantee and a remote control.

They're back in stock at Argos, just bought one today (collected from Northampton). Been waiting for it to come back. Bare in mind it needs a 40W max E14 bulb if you buy. Instructions are unclear on this on the outside of the box but inside it states E14.
