There is a leaflet within the box which gives details of the installation company - you have 14 days from date of purchase to set a date. If you set a date and are not in when they call there is a charge of £45 to come back and install. Also if they are unable to pick up an adequte signal you can return to Tesco for a full refund

even with a couple of meters of wire & a cheap dish it would cost more than £60 for an install provided by a 3rd party

Hi you can get a freesat box installed cheaper with dish and cabling via a 3rd party if you shop about,

Installation includes up to 20 metres of wire and all clips etc

This is a good deal then...
Have some heat.

Been watching these come down recently, nice.

Even at the normal price of £95 it's quite a good deal.

Give us a link, Most installers charge £40-£50 for re-aligning dish and that was a lot of shopping around

Don't forget if you get installer to set it to 19.2E instead of 28.2E then you can pick up RTL and Sport1 for Free F1 (albeit in German)

Well yes, but better to have two offset LNB and then get the UK Freesat channels also. Unless you want to swap F1 (in German) for more replays of Midsomer Murders, Frost and Lewis..!

euro ariels do the installation. you will get a single lnb so say you want pvr, you will need to replace it for a quad lnb and gunshot wire also. check out ebay! hth unless of course you already have a dish, then they will do just that = <£5.60

I only know cause I do this as a living and I bulk by my freesat hd boxes so I do it for around the £50 mark

But I don't want to advertise my self as its against the rules

I think u just did :0

I didn't lol : )
No one knows who I am

I'm only saying as some people may get stung when they turn up for installation and things will be classed as non standard so for more charge I.e more cable dish may need to be elevated to chimney for line of sight issues as 20m of cable normally only does a down and in which is not the most typical installation

So you supply and fit a Freesat HD box and dish for under £60?

That could happen with any aerial install though.

Sod Tesco i'm using Fisco

Will Fisco do an install in the Western Isles for £50? I think not, unless he lives in Stornoway....

Bought this about a year ago, the installation was great, guy was so helpful and hid all wires where possible as it was a new house. The only downfall was the Manhattan box, very laggy software and after 9 months it gave in, phoned Manhattan and was told it had nothing to do with them,Went back to tesco and eventually they gave me a replacement humax, which we've had no problems at, awesome deal at 60quid tho!

Supply and fit a zone 1 dish - decent cabling - LNB - and a Freesat HD box for around the £50 mark? Doubt that very much!!

Are you a monkey?....you are obviously working for peanuts.oO

As this offer is from 2012 has anyone bought one and got free fitting? From reading this forum below someone has rang up Euro Ariels and they have refuse to install it due to a depute with Tescos....

joinfreesat.co.uk/tes…le/

As there are some in my local then I may ring up the installer and ask them direct before getting one!!

Hot from me if its still honoured!!

No. This deal is for a generic free-to-air satellite system and has absoluetely nothing to do with BSkyB.

What does this give me over my normal tv aerial that I have installed?

There is a useful table at this address. You lose a couple from standard Freeview (Dave, for example) and gain a lot more. Look at the differences and decide which is more important to you, I suppose. Of course, you may also be gaining the five HD channels if you don't currently get a HD signl in any other way.

You can of course still run Freeview alongside this system and continue enjoying all those wonderful repeats on Dave on Dave on Dave on Dave on Dave.

can you just buy the box and for how much?

Does anyone know if they will fit this in a bedroom?

Also, am I right in thinking Dave isn't on Freesat? Or is that just Sky Freesat?

Great offer.......
