I got one from Aldi a few years back - cuts really well. Perfect for most gardens. No trailing cables/noise/petrol fumes. Grass collector works well but may have to empty it more often as the cut is so neat. I find I cut the grass more often now as its no fuss getting this lightweight and compact mower out of the garage - I keep it right next to the door as its so small. 10 minutes - quick up and down a couple of times a week. BUT keep up to it otherwise it is heavy going. First cut of the year may need to be mechanical.
I remember cutting my grandparents lawn with a manual lawnmower. Still recall the satisfying whirring sound the blades make when cutting. Using a manual mower is a gentle way to do a labouring task. Forget the unwrapping and wrapping up of cables, pulling a starter rope and noise.
voted hot for getting back to basics with machinery
Argos do an identical one in green for £39.99 if that is easier for some.
Always nice to support British Argos against American Amazon. Keeps the competition healthy. We'll lose our UK retailers if we don't buy from them when we can. Heat for Amazon deal and heat for Argos tip. Both helped!

I couldn't find the green one on Argos at that price when looking just now.
There is a yellow one on Argos for 9p more if you fancy:

I don't think the employees of Amazon.co.uk would agree or the State of Qatar who are the main shareholders of Sainsbury/Argos.

Kudos for your patriotism but it's missguided.
I do like miss guided. She's always fun.

There must be a joke in there somewhere, about paying to mow her lawn etc.
