Will this do £54 more healthiness to me than Aldi honey?
if it was buy one get one free I would be all over this but no-one is getting my extra penny
🤣🤣🤣is this an attempt at the coldest post on Hot uk deals.
You can use a voucher code to get 10% off. I've used this honey in the past, and seems good. That was at 15+ potency rather than 24+.

not sure if you are funny or just uneducated.
honey is sugar, no sugar is healthy. and the amount of those magical things in manuka honey is negligable to make a difference,
for 50 quid you could have week worth of very healthy diet
I think the Nelson Mandela version may be a better buy?

250g for £10 - although there is the P&P to worry about.

there is also no regulatory body to control this 15+, 24+ etc labelling. All honey is anti fungal, anti bacterial. No need to paid ridicules prices for Manuka. Coconut oil is excellent alternative for health purposes (not as a sweetener, obviously) and no, coconut oil is not bad for cholesterol.
Most Manuka honey is fake - it's just normal honey.

You have no clue...pure honey is one of the healthiest, if not the healthiest food you can get from the nature and the "magical things" in the honey cannot be found anywhere else. There is no substitute for pure honey.
The problem is that what is sold on the shelves, most of the times, is not pure honey but processed.

lol you have done your homework on google and youtube? you might as well state you have a goose that lays gold eggs.

PS> common knowledge is that manuka honey has limited to no health benefits, except some short term wound healing
Edited by: "mattsk" 10th Jan
I'm old enough to know that knowledge its not just web search...my brother-in-law is a beekeeper, and very often sent samples for chemical analisys and I can assure you that are a lot more things in there than sugars...the process of how pollen is turned into honey is not fully understand...I know diabetics that consume good honey without any problem...if anybody is genuinely interested about honey I highly recommend to come in contact with the local beekeeping groups and have a chat...

Ps. my brother-in-law is not based in UK in case someone thinks that I advertise his business
I've noticed with generic store bought honey, it becomes rock solid after awhile. Not sure if this honey they put something in it or if it is more genuine. Also, many people believe in the medicinal quality of honey whether that is grounded in research, I'm not sure.

That's a good thing, pure honey always become solid after a while. In processed honey special substances have been added to prevent solidification. Still doesn't mean that is pure honey but its a good indication.

About the medical benefits a lot can be said from both sides, comes down more to personal experience in the end of the day.

I suggest that you do your research before making posts! Whilst coconut is saturated fat, it is a medium chain fatty acid not a long chain fatty acid. It is the long chain type that is not so desirable. The medium chain fats, whist still saturated fat, is processed in the body totally differently and does not lead to bad cholesterol. Quite the opposite. Cholesterol itself is also not bad but essential for life. The issue comes with small molecule and large molecule cholesterol, which is not even measured under current health tests. The small molecules get stuck in ridges and lacerations inside your blood vessels and build up. These lacerations and ridges are a result in other poor lifestyle and diet choices, particularly modern gluten.
You can choose to refute this information but don't assume others just google an answer. It shows your ignorance. Spend some time reading the research and understanding the science.

No I'm not being funny. I have seen this unhealthy thing done some miracle work.
This isn't used for healthy diet rather for its healing characteristics.
And no not all sugar is bad and not all honey are same. If u don't believe there's really nothing I can do.

You understand there is no such thing as miracles. Science proves very limited benefit of honey .
What you are saying is that Neil Armstrong ate a chicken before he went to the moon therefoe anyone who will eat chicken will go to the moon.

Unless you have scientific evidence that proves any health benefits of honey all your arguments are void

no i dont have respect to pseudoscientific BS. I ask you to shut your orifice unless you can prove your claims. Simples
This is a good deal and Manuka honey is the real deal. When looking at the rating however be sure that they are quoting the UMF and not some misleading rating as some manufacturers are doing now. Making sure it is genuine is also an issue outside of NZ. I am lucky since I live in NZ where there aren’t many issues with fake Manuka honey. A high UMF is expensive, even in NZ, so an offer like this is good.

Me? That was for mattsk, sorry if it felt it was for you, but I was answering to him as he was actually just trolling your deal! That by the way I voted hot and bought it...
I was in Holland and Barrett yesterday and saw the offer however from the tickets in the shelf it looked like the 24+ may have been excluded from the deal, the other types (15+ and below) were clearly in the deal.. it may have just been an instore labelling mistake or they may have removed the offer, not sure since I never actually tried to make a purchase. I was in the Huntingdon store by the way.

+15, +20 ratings are meaningless for manuka honey. They indicate absolute zero. You can spend your money how you like but be aware the money is going into the pockets of snakeskin oil salespeople who will be encouraged to keep on selling nothing for something.

The review of it can be found here - Manuka Pharm 20+ TA Holland & Barrett, £29.99 (250g). Considering the hefty price tag and medical-sounding name, you might expect good results. However, while leptosperin levels were quite high at 287.3mg/kg, the check for MGO found that, at 80.6mg/kg, it was just below the minimum

@fiqqer Yes, I saw the review info on there. I will be wary in future.. Sainsbury or Morrisons one seems to be better. Thanks.
