Complete set of rear disc brakes and pads for various VAG platform cars. Golf MK4, Bora, Audi A3, Seat Leon/Ibiza/Alahambra etc etc. The specs are 232mm, 5x100 pcd solid discs and a set of 4x appropriate disc pads. I ordered these last night and came today, can confirm not a misprice or error.

Very, very cheap for a complete set of discs and pads! Cheapest from Eurocarparts/Carpartsforless/eBay is around £30 for set.

Hope this helps someone on here

Great find and thanks for sharing, don't need these yet but at that price worth buying and keeping in the garage till I do.
Do you need 2 for the car or just £8
Just £8, comes as set of 2 discs and 4 pads
cheap
just ordered a set for my Octavia. Hope they fit. But cheap enough as I'm trailing prime. Thanks op.
Unless I was certain that the provenance was impeccable, I wouldn't touch cheap braking components.
Lithium Metal batteries required. ??????
Really! Too good to be true? Brake squeal, juddering and simply not efficient at dissipating heat and hence not slowing you down in an emergency? Is it honestly worth the gamble, personally I wouldn't unless much more feedback to prove otherwise...
im not sure id but cheap breaks and pads on my car. its like putting cheap tyres on your car. its the one thing that can stop you from being killed or killing, stopping!

What about the brake pedal?
That's a mighty fine price. I'd say every bit as good as the real thing.
These will go lovely with my remoulded tyres
£8.62 for two rear brake discs and a set of pads.
The old saying, you get what you pay for.

I just pray you are never behind me on the road.
absolute bargain. bought. thanks

true, but if your brake discs, or break pads are rubbish, that pedal means jack

i totally agree. had a similar argument with somebody about some cheap tyres because, she the users mother only goes the local shops. if the things that help you stop are rubbish, you wont stop, and you either die, get injured, or do those two to others.
anybody got a deal for some cut price, super thin, cheap generic condoms, i really feel like using something like that with a member of the opposite sex who has every s.t.i. known to man

This deal ideal for the robbers in the garages!

Wtf

im trying to make what i think is a valid point. brakes help to protect you and others. similarly condoms when used in a scenario i described would be used to do the same thing. you cheap out, you gonna get burned, or something might feel like its burning.

Meh, if they've helped at least one person save some money I'm happy. I get your point about them not being as good as £75+ Mintex, EBC, ATE, drilled, grooved, vented etc etc. But they will have been made to a standard safe to use on cars, it's not like your going to put them on and within the first 5 miles they will crumble into dust....!

What are you on about ?

They are discounted so what is the problem, maybe go here & pay nearly £30 or maybe more :

I agree that buying cheap brake components may not be the best option. I assume that they would have to satisfy the usual standards, but who knows.

On the positive side, the rear brakes only contribute a small fraction of the braking force anyway. So compared to the front brakes, these are not as critical. That's why some cheap cars still use drum brakes in the back.
I don't see the problem with buying "cheap" brakes or tyres as I'm sure if they're selling such safety critical components they must have been tested to fulfil some sort of minimum standard similar to British Safety Standards?
They aren't cheap brake parts though, they are £30 odd discounted to £13 odd.

OOS now anyway.

Not just cheap cars plenty of audi / bmw's ect with them on most are primarily used for the handbrake though to be fair.
Specific standards are in place such as r90 but these are very rarely enforced.
I think with all car components a little research on the company goes a long way
Link is now £39.94

If I may expand on your analogy, put a bit of copper slip on the mating flange if you wanna stop her squealing!

So the more you pay for tyres, the better they will stop you???

Does that mean that iPhones are the best phones in the world, because they cost more?

(Seriously though, is there any research that proves that expensive tyres are the best?)

hell yes, autocar did a test of cheap chinese tyres vs quality brands, and the results were shocking (you will have to actually find the edition and buy it though to read it). Its not all about the tread pattern, its also about the compound they use in the tyre.
