Wots a cd?

Something you rip to FLAC files and keep safely in a box somewhere whilst you listen to your whole collection on a 4tb hard drive.

Probably for the same reason Nokia relaunched the 3310

In all fairness, the 3310 was a great phone, tapes were never good. They just bridged the gap between vinyl and CDs, but the audio quality is awful on them.
Great buy, I’m tempted but I do not need one as mine still works great.

I know plenty of people who can't tell the difference between the sound of a CD & a well-recorded cassette recorded/played on a quality deck.
Excellent product...I own one and am well pleased with the sound quality...mind I do prefer the sound of vinyl on my Linn Sondek.
Still using my Richer Sounds Marantz CD 60000 ose. Been going strong for years. But if it went .....then yep I would buy this one....Still use Vinyl (never stopped ) .. and still have Yamaha cassette Hifi recorder, and tapes.....And yes the one which should never have stopped ... MiniDisc.
I've been holding off knowing this price would come back around again. Still have a load of CDs built up since the 90's and enjoy loading them in and reading the sleeve notes. I have purchased an Audio Technica LP120 to gauge how often I will dig out my old vinyl as I'm still not convinced. Next purchase will probably be a network streamer like an NA6005.

This is a CD deck

Sorry. mistaken.. thought its pm 6006
I’m probably going to buy it but if there isn’t much difference between it and my old cheap Technics sl-pg490 then I will send it back. Both have AB repeat which is great for me as a guitarist. Mind you I do most things now on the pc. What speakers do we recommend for £500 pref on a deal. I like warmer tones. Shame this play can’t handle FLAC it would have it all
