How exactly would you play a record on an iphone? or is that a new feature they have planned for the iphone 11
Marantz had a very good name for hifi equipment during the time I had seperates.

This includes a moving coil cartridge so to me is good value, especially compared to the tat which is sold as turntables nowadays.

Do not waste a penny on this piece of drastic plastic it’s no better than the cheap quality but overpriced Crossley. Avoid. Aldi has some reduced cheapo TT at £29.99 a few months ago this is in that same quality bracket. You’ll need to add another £50 and you’ll get yourself a decent turntable from Richer Sounds . Also £99 will you a very good 2nd hand deck on EBay which will last a lot longer that this Marantz tat. I have a Technics deck which I’ve used regularly for the past 26 years without a problem which I bought for £60 2nd hand in 1992.

I had two Sl1200 in 1992 wish I still had them
Not a bad turntable but not the best, but it’s probably the best you’ll get at this price point alas. Heat for the cheap find

Don't feed the troll! They're always hungry.
mmmm....very tempting!!

Good reviews and some of those paid up to £180
I have this TT. Had it for nearly 2 years and it’s served me well. Looking to upgrade now I have more of a collection. It’s a good quality entry level piece of kit that at this price is good value in my opinion. Hope this helps someone.
if you are playing re-issue cheap vinyl go for it, if you own rare, valued (to you) or expensive original vinyl invest in proper gear

I'm no hifi expert but at a guess its because iphones don't play records vey well..
this is very similar to the audio technica, pioneer ones, think theyre all made in the same factory with the names slapped on. this review gives a bit more info about them. seem decent enough. you need to spend at least £250 for a a half decent one which if youre only playing records now and again is not money well spent.

Everyone I know who sold their SL1200’s regrets it now. I never bought a pair however all my decks are Technics as I love them. I have a SL2000 with black wood plinth upstairs and a SLD2 downstairs. I have another packed away as a spare.

nar it will get you one thats the same as many others, cheap and cheerful. few id look at for £250 is a sonyhx500/audio technica120 and a riga planer1. i still have my pioneer pl15 after 40 years of service its still going strong
Isn't the audio technica one a it better yet same price? Has better reviews?
