Im a bit nervous about posting this as pointed out previously I dont do ski'ing, man i dont even know how you write it? or do you just say Ski holidays? anyway I dont do that, or snow or cold walking my dog in winter almost kills me! But people keep asking and asking for ski hols so i've been doing a little research and from what I can gather this seems pretty darn good if you are looking for a base for your ski holiday this year!

I am no expert but im guessing you would get those from the slopes?

Even walking in Austria during the spring is amazing! This is a super deal.

Anything from London Airports at all Stacey? Sorry, I'm being ultra lazy! Will search myself hun!

Great price, can somebody hook us up with cheap rental and lift pass though? Have a feeling thats were your going to get stung

yeah its just occurred to me, this doesnt have to be a ski holiday does it, i forget that not everyone is like me and things the cold will kill them

How much would this be with a 2 year old please? (Turns 3 on 27th march)

Great price. worth mentioning the resort as its quite important. Looks like this is in Mayrhofen which is a great resort.

This wont include much at all. Expect to pay about £70-100 for ski or board and boots hire for the week and about £200 for a lift pass.

Still a bargain if you're all about the snow and no luxury extras

No liftpasses or gear rentals included. Still, heat added.

price seems to shoot up as soon as you add to basket, What am I doing wrong?

Such an amazing price if you're willing to gamble with the snow. At the moment Europe is having a really crappy season because its just not cold enough.
The snow in Mayrhofen is really crap too at the moment, and could be much worse at the end of March when it will be starting to get warmer.

snow-forecast.com/res…ort

But for this price, even if there's no snow, its a very cheap holiday to a lively town.

Blimey that is a great deal, I'm off to Austria next week, and it's costing over £650 each! However March 22nd is very end of season so it's touch and go on the snow being good enough. I was very tempted though!

A 6 day lift pass is €220 - plus ski hire will not be cheap in Austria if you don't have your own.

Great deal Stacey

Wow! That is really CHEAP for flights, B&B accommodation and transfers. Mayrhofen is a great resort and near to the hintertux glacier for all year round skiing so even if there isnt much snow at that time of year (there wasnt when I went at the end of the season a few years ago) go can still get to the glacier to ski. The ski pass will probably cost more than the holiday deal

So for me the price for 3 people goes from £355 to £893.73 once you add to the basket, no extras have been added. Any ideas why?

I noticed this myself, you would think it would be cheaper as they say they can accommodate 3 per room but its cheaper for just 2

great price, however as posters above have said the snow depth/conditions may be hit and miss that late in the season. Heated.

SKI HOLIDAYS

Fantastic deal!

I have been Mayrhofen for the last 11 years and the cheapest I have ever got was £199pp so top marks Stacey!

Yes the lack of snow is a worry. We had a similar year about 5 years ago. A couple of the runs had been closed as you could see the brown patches of earth coming through! Still.....there is plenty more runs to use so should be fine.

Fingers crossed there should be more snow before then.

Comes up as £604 for me :-(

That is an awesome price been mayrhofen twice this time of year both times been great, really nice town, slopes have something for everyone too, including a good freestyle park, it's fairly warm (as ski trips go) this time of year but the snows been fine, gets a little slushy as it gets into the afternoon on the sunnier slopes. They have plenty of the slopes covered with snowmaking facilities so you don't have to rely on mother nature.

Buy cheap clothes before you go from to maxx or sports direct and rent gear there.

Also the local zillertal pils beer is awesome and don't forget to have a lime beer in the sun at the mini bar at the bottom of the ahorn lift!
If I wasn't going Boston and Vermont next month I would be booking this immediately! Hot!

For reference, 4 years ago I paid over 150 just for flights and transfers, no accomodation, cheap as chips

For Mayrhofen B&B with flights that is brilliant. less than £25 a day is super cheap for skiing in Austria. could be a bit slushy out there by end of March though - snow doesn't seem great this year. hot.

Yeah, skis and boots rental will be about £80 and then about £200 for the lift pass.

As others have mentioned the snow in Austria is not great at the moment, a few of my friends are in Saalbach and are struggling in some places due to lack of snow so could be worse by March.

Great price for Mayrhofen though.

right, the question is though whether this deal was live at all. the initial page still shows good price which then changes to 604 at checkout. i voted cold based on actual price not the "glitch" price

no snow in April normally

no it wasnt a glitch because I watched the number of rooms going down.

Sorry I thought you were new as you had only opened your account 4 minutes before posting. Do you normally use a different account then?

what do you meant you watched the number of rooms going down? i don't see the number of rooms displayed anywhere. This offer is still bookable but not for the price you mention which means rooms are still available...

I used HUKDs for a year now but have not posted before. As mentioned - I couldn't resist opening an account and responding to this "deal"

PS. I'd love to see a proof of anyone actually paying the "deal" price

you might perhaps get someone from time to time who will share that they booked the deal but more often than not most like to remain inconspicuous

Its Friday now which means that that search section could stay with the lower price all weekend, that can happen quite a lot at TC

When you click "get quote" section on a TC holiday when it goes to the page it flashes up in red how many rooms are remaining when they get down to their final few... eg - click on the half board to Bulgaria ski holiday deal £180, it tells you 1 room left

I would'nt even bother answering Stacey,
You do fantastic job finding these bargain holidays..
Thank you
