Form the most unlikely team of heroes to restore order to the Mushroom Kingdom, and battle through four twisted worlds filled with dynamic turn-based combat, challenging puzzles and unpredictable enemies.
Mushroom mayhem This is the story of an unexpected encounter between Mario and the irreverent Rabbids. The Mushroom Kingdom has been torn apart by a mysterious vortex, transporting the Rabbids into the once-peaceful area, splintering this beloved land.

To bring order back to the mixed-up Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi must team up with four Rabbids heroes, each with their own unique personalities! Journey through warped worlds filled with coins to collect and puzzles of all shapes and sizes to solve.

Join these eight heroes in a side-splitting adventure, and discover delightful nods to classic Mario games along the way – as well as plenty of mischievous Rabbids!

Crazy combat Wield never-before-seen weaponry and engage in turn-based combat with a variety of unusual foes and outrageous bosses. Take turns manoeuvring your heroes around the battlefield, and trade blows with the enemy using ranged and melee attacks. With hundreds of wacky weapons at your disposal, carefully consider how to equip your charismatic heroes before you do battle!

Take cover! Make clever use of the environment to outwit your opponents to gain a tactical edge! Hide behind cover to avoid ranged enemy attacks, jump through Rabbid-shaped pipes to quickly move around the battlefield, and unleash your heroes' unique abilities as you face off against the enemy.

Squad goals Each hero has their own special moves, stats and techniques that can change the tide of battle and shape the way you play. Take advantage of Mario’s high offensive power to overcome stronger opponents, keep your squad fighting fit with Rabbid Peach’s healing techniques, and outmanoeuvre onrushing enemies with Luigi’s advanced mobility. How you assemble your squad is totally up to you!

Join forcesHand a Joy-Con to a friend to enjoy a series of co-op challenges in local multiplayer, and test your skills with three difficulty levels. Control two heroes each as you battle through specially designed stages full of new strategic possibilities!

Gold Edition is £20.49 as well.
I wish, and feel really aggrieved that they never put the dlc on sale. I paid full price for the game on release. Stop putting the gold edition on sale every other week to rub my nose in it.

Fantastic price for a fantastic game!
What a game and what a price. Hot from me! This should go scorching in my opinion!
Great price for digital!
HOTTER THAN HELL
Tempted. What do people think of this game? The kids only play Xbox so it would be mostly me playing on my own. It sounds a better multiplayer game?
Finally priced below £15

If you like strategy games, this is fantasitc. Top 5 games on switch imo. I played through entire game single player only and it was worth every penny of full price at launch. A steal at £11. If you like this type of game already then £20 for gold edition is great
Great game!!

I started playing this but couldn't skip the movie at the beginning and it went on too long and haven't played it since.

Is this game any good? My daughter absolutely loves odysey but I'm guessing this is harder for kids?

It's great but it's a strategy game akin to Chess so perhaps not suitable for very little ones... It obviously depends on the specific child as my ASD 6 year old loves this but it ties into his number / statistic obsession
Thanks for posting @ashmatuk we have added this to the Highlights pages

Thank you Might give it a go at that price! Is it free roaming or structured, as in can I get lost in a world because I'm not very good at those games!

I have a very clever 3 year old who can do odyssey and others but yeah it's probably too hard if it's stats. Thanks

Harsh, unlucky. Maybe try contacting nintendo customer services? See if you can buy the game as a code which can be redeemed later?

Spoke to customer services no luck. Only chance is to borrow someone’s switch and log on with my account to activate. Luckily the Mrs has said I can buy it when ever I’m ready so will buy a switch before the sale ends. Holding out for a good discount bundle

Fair enough, fingers crossed for you then. Offers seem to be coming up more regularly recently, I got mine about 6 weeks ago from the AO.com eBay store using an eBay code and they did a similar deal a few weeks later

What’s the difference

The gold edition includes the season pass which is pretty much the donkey Kong expansion dlc
Worth it if buying anew otherwise the gold edition often gets reduced to the same price as the season pass on it's own.
They keep putting the standard and the gold edition on sale, but never the dlc on it's own. So People like me who paid full price for the standard edition are shafted.
is there a link for the gold version?

I can’t find Gold at £20, coming up way more than that for me.

This deal on Amazon at £299 for a Switch, Mario Maker 2 Limited Edition (including 1 year online sub) and a £30 eShop credit isn't too shabby. You could then buy Mario + Rabbids and Rayman Legends in the sale with the voucher and still have credit!
