Anyone who trades in any of those games for Mario Tennis is off their head.... Let alone pay an extra £10 in the process.

Works out a pound or two less than selling the old game on eBay and buying the new. Less hassle too.
Considering the age of some of these games this is an ok deal for Game
The way I work it out, if you sold Mario Odyssey on EBay, which I am, you'd need to make at least £28 from that sale to beat this deal, which is very easy to do, plus GAME are absolutely terrible with customer service and typical prices. Save your money and games and just buy it using the Argos - EBay Deal for £38.
The with trade in at the end killed it.

even if they've completed and wont go back to them? (apart from MK8)
I have all four of these games and wont go back to all of them. I wont see £28 from eBay after fees / packaging, and I fancy a game of tennis - so for me it is good.

I am too attached to Zelda and Mario Kart is always worth a spin. So that leaves a shoot out between Mario and Donkey Kong.

I think DK is for the chop!

Even if I was drunk and seeing double I wouldn't swap them, let alone pay extra on top. This is coming from someone who doesn't rate Mario Odyssey that much, and only owns Donkey Kong on the Wii U.
Good deal. For those not hopping onto the 'i hate game 'bandwagon', its a solid offer. Saves you the hassle of selling on eBay to get the funds etc. if you are looking for the game now. Just a pity the actual game doesn't get great reviews.

Age? The quality of games such as botw and Mario kart/odyssey far out shine Mario aces.. this isn't a deal, the older games will hold their value longer than aces I reckon also.
That misleading notification lol...

They're story games though. If you've completed a game and don't think you'll play through it again then there's no point in hanging onto it, regardless of the value it might hold.

Having said that, it's £43 on Amazon for a copy of Mario Tennis. Would've thought you could get more than £33 on eBay for most of these games.

Aces will drop in price a lot more adn a lot quicker than any of those other games.

This isn't his finest hour, but 180 posted deals - you can't argue with that.
I don't mind a cold deal at all - worth it if someone says "bought - thanks".

Was the second hottest deal of the day with the banana phone earlier in the week - even though both that deal and this amount to the same thing (about £2.50 off).
So i've collected mine!.. In spite of the negatives I fancy a bit of tennis action pre-Wimbledon (and yes yes I know this is not really a proper tennis game)..
That's a ridiculous offer. Get the game, sure, but trade in those AND pay £10? That's why I never sell or trade in games, it's just not worth it!

You want them to swap a used older game for a sealed new-release title for free?

Have the same four, and would concur with your assessment.

Yeah, why not (playing devils advocate here). I've got to trade in what, £120's worth of games and pay £10 to get a new one (assuming I purchased them new)? I don't think that's a good deal in my opinion.

I get they're a business and all, but I find their trade in prices offensive in comparison to what they sell used items on for.

Er you only have to trade in one game!.. So it is trade in a £30 game plus £10 for a £40 game..

Ha! I read your title as trade in all of those, so BOTW, Odyssey and Mario Kart OR DK (MK being the only one that you could swap with DK) plus £10! I thought that was a bit steep! <Insert Facepalm>

Cheers. Traded in DK today. They gave me £35 trade in for it against new sealed Mario Tennis Aces, just paid the tenner. 🏻
Does anyone know how long the trade in offer is available. Thanks

Yep so you will have got about £32 out of that (assuming you charged extra for postage). So you then top up by £6 to get tennis.

So that is £4 cheaper than this deal - but more hassle. Or about the same cost as this deal if you also paid postage for the one you sold on ebay.

My overall point in posting this was that it is an option for anyone who fancies the tennis game, is happy to let go of one of the other switch games, and wants to save the hassle of ebay (i.e. it is a fairly niche deal - but it worked for me!)
