I wholeheartedly agree - thought we'd try an M & S Chinese for a treat - was one of the worst things I've eaten. Not much cheaper than a decent takeaway either!!

Didn't realise there's the option of other drinks - Beer / Lager / Cider - as an alternative to the wine!

heat added. Indian food at M&S is very good, naans very fresh and authentic, not tried garlic mind.
with wine at £5ish value this is another great deal from them.
Chicken Piri Piri that well know Indian/Portugese dish?
i'll be checking out the indian version, thanks! (and for the advice on the chinese)
Stick chilli chicken is the finest meal they do, also the chilli prawns, that sat night sorted

I wholeheartedly disagree. Had this before with sticky chilli chicken and beef in black bean. Everything was fantastic.
And seeing as we all probably have the living social deals its actually under a fiver with a bottle of wine!
no brainer with the Living Social deal. Sticky chilli chicken amazing

Bombay Aloo

What Living Social deal? Haven't heard of it....
Stick with the Indian.
I tried the Chinese , egg fried rice disgusting , I think they forgot the eggs. Duck rolls were ok, king prawns and chilie sauce quite nice. Trying the chicken chow mein tonight but it's looking very dry.

Chicken Piri Piri is actually very popular amongst Goan's for obvious reasons

GOOD
I might be tempted to try out the indian offer, but tbh I find all these chinese and indian meals very average from all the supermarkets and I think their flippin cheeky what they charge for them. They cost as much as a decent takeaway that doesn't come loaded in plastic. I will vote deal hot though because it's the most you're gonna get off them!!!!

I wish that 'Just Eat' deal would come back again though lol!!!

Good deal but a little annoyed they don’t have the Beef Chow Mein Singapore Style in the list as its the best chinese food there.

Thats it cheers, Shanghai/Singapore I seem to get mixed up with the two. When they was 2 for £6 I couldnt resist but says not suitable for freezer, so had to eat 4 in 3 days.

Yeah I agree totally. The currys from supermarkets(and M&S is the best for them, not tried waitrose mind) is sometimes more than passable but the chinese food is always well off the mark.
great deal
Have had the beef with black bean before and liked it. Might try some Indian now.
