one off final store clearance

maybe so but both stores ive been in had the offer on

If anyone can get into the NORWICH M+S they had recycled polyester school blazers in navy and black, sizes from just starting school age right up to 13-14 years for 50p - bargain. (On top floor by returns desk). They also had childrens toy play house things (about 8" longx6" high) police station/farm/restaurant with sounds for 50p in the homewaresection downstairs along with lots of other bits and bobs for 50p.

Why? :?

Was in M&S at Liverpool Street last night and they have lots of mens suit's on sale, but nothing like this, and nothing matching, unless you happen to have very strange proportions.

I think that depends on store as one said no refunds and the other store didnt

DLM;7471405

Why? :?

this is because they are final manager reductions (whatever is left of the sale) so it is old stock, will have already been reduced if it is damaged, so only reason for return is the wrong size and most of the stuff that is left is generally the bigger sizes. (it is in our store anyway)

If you have a Red dot on the label, M&S will not accept any returns in any circumstances, so be warned before buying.

well said, thats why i dont under stand why its so low

that what i was thinking,

u are entitled to return any item within 7 days of purchase, now this doesn't mean a refund but they have to issue u a credit note at least.

also if an item is faulty, then they have no say u can demand a refund providing u have the proof of purchase. The only time they may not offer this is if there is an existing fault and u agree to have purchased the item.

Old stock/ remaining stock is no different to buying an item at full price, they retailer just wanted to get rid of it.

Don't let other retailers fool u, that why we have trading standards in the UK

Probably just to get rid of the stock to clear up more floor space for the spring collection? Just a guess.

Spot on!
My local, stamps all these items with black ink with large letter 'S', NONE of it is returnable, and yes they can do this!

I returned two pairs of trousers today that I bought from the final reductions section yesterday, without any problems, can't see why things shouldn't be returnable unless specifically sold as seen due to a fault with red stamps on the size label, must depend on store
