Nice find, I've added a pic to your deal
heat for not spamming the forum with individual deals
WIll I receive a correct item I ordered ? Or is it an error again ?
Grrr... Ordered the 22" at the weekend when it was posted here at £99.
Wish I'd not been tempted and would have gone for the 24" posted here instead oO
Bargain! Almost as good as the £65 Tesco UMC 21.5" TV offer

This shall get hot!

anyone tell me if it can be used as a pc monitor thanks.
Thanks Bought the 24" for our bedroom.

Same here I bought two 24" M&S brands for the bedrooms at £129.99 each but just went online
there and cancelled the original in the account and ordered them again at £99 each saving
£60.

Reviews are good in respect to the picture but the sound is not the best but should be satisfactory
for bedroom viewing.

Heat added OP and thanks

thanks OP
Would my girlfriend throw it back at me if I gave her the TV/DVD version with the brand name Cello on it.

Depends how much you have told her you love her !
good luck have never received a TV ever from this shower .They take your order give you a delivery date of about 4-5 weeks and 2 days before delivery they cancel the order due ti no stock .Has happened so many times to me and to friends !!!!!!!!!
Worst online retailer ever !!!!!
How many tv's have you ordered from them?
The MS brand TV's are decent, only downside is the Audio quality, buy an external set of speakers.
Some of the reviewers on M&S are clowns ..
"has no On/Off switch"?? Is the remote beyond your IQ level??
"comes with a power pack and a 12v connection"?? Of course it does, it uses substantially less power than a normal TV as it's LED you moron.
".. couldn't get any analogue stations at all. My reception/aerial are not great" .. Wow .. we got a mystery to solve here Scooby FFS!

Overall it's got a decent review and for £79 I think it's an absolute bargain heat added
Not great TV's, but good VFM.

Yes it can.
Ordered one on receipt of the email form M&S - £79 for 22" tv for kids room is great. Tesco similar is £110. Nervous of some reviews re bad sound quality, but a 10 year old shouldn't notice!

Made a start on xmas presents - woohoo!
Cheers I've been looking for a cheap kitchen tv. I've been looking for a while and it seems that the sound on most 19/22 inch tvs is poor. Even the samsung and panasonic models get criticised on various online reviews. Since it only for the kitchen I can live with it (hopefully).
Got the black version of the 22" Cello one with dvd player a few month ago for £60 in the local clearance store

Great little tv. Picture not great on watching tv (not bad either), but looks great on dvd and hdmi things

Wouldn't that be down to your signal then and not the TV?
+ 3% QUIDCO

3 none have been delivered. Mate has just called me this morning ,he ordered one a few weeks ago had an email from them this morning pushing delivery back and they don't know when they can deliver !!!!
This is not sour grapes but just warning everyone not to raise their hopes. Like i say they take the orders when they have no idea of stock levels Quite incredible for such a high profile company !!!!
Spoke to a really helpful lady in store yesterday .She explained that they are pulling out of the Home electronics market and getting rid of all TVs etc

Perhaps they are concerned that switching it off by remote leaves it on standby. An on/off switch allows it to be properly switched off, saving energy.

Voltage has nothing to do with power consumption. A separate power pack can be bulky.

Agree with you on that score at least, but perhaps if you live in a glass house you shouldn't through stones.

24" OOS
Cheers OP. Ordered and paid a fiver for delivery tomorrow.

gutted the 24" is out of stock.

Some of the context was left out on two of the comments quoted above.

Rest of comment: "(I had this on a TV I had 10 years ago) so you cant mount on wall as you have the power pack hanging down"

Rest of comment: "but my old Panasonic analogue TV works fine! Am getting a few digital channels, sound not great. Will have to wait for digital switchover in a month or so to see how well it really works."

What was that about clowns?

I'd also appreciate an answer on this. I was all set to buy the tesco dvd combi for £108 until I saw this deal. I can do without the dvd if I can play xvid via the usb.

Thanks
anyone used the usb media port?

Only trying to be helpful but in my experience M&S Technology deliveries are not like normal M&S and you are wasting your money as their delivery is notoriously slow. That said I wish you luck and let us know if it arrives on time as I will change my postage for the 4 x 24" ordered last night for store collection. Frequent emails pushing back delivery dates from M&S are not uncommon so be warned.

Have a look at the reviews on the M&S site as I am nearly sure someone said it plays Avi / XVID / DVIX fine. Could be wrong but let us know if you clarify this please.

Thanks, read every review. One mentioned you couldn't access the usb port 'to access music and pictures' when the tv is on the wall. Not looking promising.
Re: DVIX via USB

Just found this on page 7 of 24" TV reviews from Harry13:

Excellent TV
14 January 2012
Bought this TV for a bedroom.
Pros: Great picture quality and features, divx player is a nice addition.
Cons: Sound is a bit tinny, but still more than acceptable.
Overall a great buy

Hope that helps
