Never used ghee in my life. What do you mainly use it for? An oil …Never used ghee in my life. What do you mainly use it for? An oil substitute instead of veg oil or normal butter?

It's used for achieving a fast track heart attack ...

Just kidding, its clarified butter so widely used for cooking Indian dishes instead of oil. Much healthier than oil but can be pretty lethal if not used in moderation with right level of physical activity.

Heart attack in a tin, I make a mean curry but started using extra virgin olive oil years ago.
Ghee has many health benefits, just get a decent brand

It is why so many asians are so fat they use it in every indian meal... almost.
If you eat it more than once a week you will eventually need a heart bypass at least that is what my neighbours tell me and they should know as they own an indian restaurant!

In our families we made every dish from clarified butter ghee only for people who are recovering from physical exhaustion like new mum. She get to eat everything made from ghee but made separate food for other family members in vegetable oil
we also use ghee as substitute for oil in making sweet dishes as they only made occasionally and eaten in small portion so everyone eats that.
Happy Butter in Scots
Some of the members coming in to a hot deal threads to just have a joke about the product is ridiculous and they should ghee it up
Well worth a try (everything in moderation). I been informed using ghee brings out the flavour of the food.
Cheers. Have some heat!
