Following Morrisons it looks like M&S are following suit and decanting their flour into plastic bags.

2kg for 85p which is cheaper than Aldi prices (48p per kg)!

Lots in stock at my local today

Anyone know if this is nationwide or store specific?
If this runs out of stock, I've been going to Waitrose in Holborn and they have a shelf full of 2 different types of bread flour. I can't remember what the price is, but if you're in need of some bread flour at the moment they've had about 10-20 bags on the shelf when I've left.
Great price... If you can find any.
No expense spared on packaging I see.

I don’t think that’s the point...it looks like they are doing what the likes of asda and morrisons are doing and packaging up some of their bakery flour to supply the demand.
Definitely coke... and a bargain at that price!
“To make perfect cakes, pastries, batters and white sauces”. Not with me around they won’t
I am so pleased that I got 2 bags of self raising flower couple of weeks ago. I almost thought...oh no point hoarding as they’re coming back in stores hehe

yup.

there isn't a lack of flour in the country. the problem is a lack of consumer packaging.

most flour is sold in bulk so companies are now trying to find ways of selling it on (hence the cheaper looking packaging).
I didn't see this one in my local M&S but they had a HUGE bag of icing sugar, maybe 5kg.
The 'flour' I get from Empire market is way more expensive than this, good deal
