Marley And Me is an adaptation of John Grogan's bestselling memoir about an incorrigible Labrador retriever, and stars Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and Alan Arkin!

Marley is the yellow lab adopted by Grogan (Owen Wilson), a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and his wife. Their idea was to give them a taste of parenthood, but the dog proved to be a hyperactive handful. He wreaks havoc everywhere he goes, gets kicked out of obedience school and gets even worse when the children begin to arrive, yet becomes an indispensable part of the family.

Good price. lousy film.

heartbreaking even for us guys,im dreading that day...good price

the dog dies lol

Got this for £3 over year ago

Better to watch 'you me and marley' about 80's NI joyriders

Anybody that has had a Labrador (a most others) will appreciate this film. I watched it 6 months ago, yes I guessed what was coming and kept looking at our dog but nevertheless it was a great film. Our Lab, whatever she did to our year old carpet as a puppy, was a wonderful companion to the wife, my 4 children and myself. If she'd had enough she would lick our kids faces until they gave up pestering her.
Couldn't watch it now as Millie was put to sleep on 7th Dec suffering from cancer. I guarantee anybody with a heart will end up tearful watching this.
Well worth £2.99.

Good price but it's a shame about the spoilers. Have already seen this but not fair to those who haven't.

This made me cry like a baby. The only film ever that's made me cry properly.

my dogs.

the dog dies lol

You must be such a nice person...............

i watched this when it first came out and i too have golden lab, just had to hug my dog after the film, great film dispite owen wilson and his robot voice acting.

Had a lump in my throat through the whole film then at the end couldn't fight the tears back

Good price, awful film...

Wonderful book and the film certainly brought it to life.
Not a bad film. The A-list casting maybe was wrong if anything.

I would seriously watch this together with your children if they are under 8's.
It is a very emotional film and you and your childrens heart strings will be tugged.
Watch it before bed and the chances are they wont sleep. Just a warning.

But a great film for kids to understand what loss is and bring out their caring nature.
And if you love dogs. It's a no brainer, read the book, watch the film.

Original Poster

I still haven't seen this film but I'm not sure I could watch it now we have a Lab puppy.

Very true comments regarding anyone who has owned a Labrador (or indeed any other dog) this film is a must, My lab is my best friend my soul mate but most of all hes my eyes, He has given me a new lease of life..hes a guide dog. I cried like a baby when this was on as I cannot imagine life without my dog since we qualified 2 years he has changed my ife so much. He also guided a pram and made sure it didnt go off the curb aswell and I too now dread the day he isnt here anymore. Ive had him two years now and hes worth his weight in gold. A truely amazing dog :-)

Only just watched this film as I too had to have my last of 2 labs put to sleep through illness 6 months ago, couldnt watch before but still managed to blub my way through (love you Emma+Ben)
