With syrup yes with ketchup yes but the marmy tar stays in a jar.

100 years worth of marmite!!

Not bad deal at all!

Hot for those who like Marmite. Wish they did this with Bovril - I love it but so expensive!

Thanks for this will take a look my local store is Chester too!

Pretty sure it's not nationwide unless it's gone down by £1.50 since 9th.
It is, however, a hidden coupon (50p off).

Yuck.

This must be for people who have a sexual fetish involving the use of Marmite.

I LOVE marmite, and I go through loads of the stuff....not that the family know because apparently they hate it....just as well they don't know it goes in their spag bog, stews, casseroles, lasagne..........

what is bovril, the question asked by everyone outside the UK. You try explaining

erm its meaty grease you drink it I dunno

I lay tarmac for a living and I remember one day we under ordered tarmac by half a metre, our boss made us go into Tesco and made us buy 30 jars of Marmite, to this day the Marmite is still holding the M1 in place

You ever had Bovril? If you had you would know that it's not at all 'greasy'. It is a paste made with meat extracts and ever so versatile; it can be used in cooking, as a spread, and as a drink. Wonderful stuff....:)

oO:D I don't know whether to believe you or not!

They used to have Bovril tubs too. We have to have both Marmite and Bovril in our house, as we all like different! I agree about them being used for all sorts, def worth the price!
